Within each 'death van' sits a dedicated team of doctors ready to 'harvest' the organs of the deceased. Injections leave the body intact and in pristine condition ready for transplant. In 'The Stars in Your Soul', Bai has been sentenced to death for publishing reactionary statements within his blog. Can Bai's mother set aside her despair and formulate a plan that will stop the execution? In 'The Weight of Wisdom', Jing is a driver of one of the 'death' vans, assisting in the execution of convicted criminals. His conscience forces him to question the ethics of the process, leading to him making a stand and confronting his country's regime. In 'The Tranquil Garden', after attempting to help Bai's mother save her son, Yong finds himself in confrontation with Ren, a judge who is embroiled in the harvesting of organs of executed criminals. Will Yong succeed in ending the deadly enterprise or will Ren's network of evil offer him the ultimate protection?
