Reviews for Summary of God Is Not Great
5 ratings5 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is fundamentally flawed in argument, but can be enjoyable to read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of the most informative books I have ever read. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to base religious beliefs on reason, logic, evidence, and science. Hitchens gives a great quote in this book: "Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence." A simple, yet profound statement.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book should be required reading, not to shake one's faith, but to educate everyone to the dangers of blind faith, faith without evidence, and following of religious gurus.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book will change the way you think about the impact that organized religion has in the world today.

Nice background information on the music and the touring of the Beach Boys. This book really filled in the music gaps. Not a lot personally about Carl Wilson yet he was a very private man. His sons and 2 wives have not and likely will not reveal much either--so the author's hands are pretty much tied.1 person found this helpful
