"Ultimately, happiness comes down to choosing between the discomfort of becoming aware of your mental afflictions and the discomfort of being ruled by them." – Robert Wright

Robert Wright knocks it out of the park creating a book that uses psychology, philosophy and neuroscience to defense the claims of buddhism and provide proof of their arguments. It definitely teaches you a lot of just about everything, but most importantly, it helps you to live a happy life.

Why Buddhism is True will teach you the terrible truth of our nature but also gives you a way to conquer it.

P.S. Why Buddhism is True is an outstanding book made to see the world and yourself in a completely different way.

P.P.S. It was Albert Einstein who famously said that once you stop learning, you start dying. It was Bill Gates who said that he would want the ability to read faster if he could only have one superpower in this world. I enjoy almost all of Thich Nhat Hanh's books and this one is a keeper. I know some of his material can be repetitious, but this volume is a relaxing read. Many words of wisdom and gentle guidance.
