      Introduction

      This is a first in a series of books that are based on the Tree of Life which is a glyph used in the Kabbalistic tradition. It is a visual representation of all the Kabbalah offers for knowledge and experience that can be gained.

      What is the kingdom

      The kabbalah can be used to trace the journey of soul from its incarnation into the physical and its subsequent return to the Spirit realm. Its principles have been the foundation of many, many religions and mystical traditions.

      Its teachings encompass the Jewish and Christian Biblical texts and has helped to define those religions and you will find its principles in many other religions as well. This is done because the Kabbalah is considered a Jewish mystical text that is derived from the Zohar and other ancient documents that goes beyond the simple doctrines that define a belief system.

      The Tree of Life is a glyph used in the study of the Kabbalah. It is divided into 10 sephirah that are connected by 22 paths. There are words, letters, planetary symbols and elements associated with each sephirah. It allows you to compare various aspects associated with each sephirah and learn more about yourself as well as things around you.

      It uses the Sephirah, which are 10 in number, to describe and illustrate for you what is called the Path of Return. This glyph can be used for this and much more. Its purpose is to help you find and realize who you are and in so doing to recognize what your true potential is. After this the goal is to help you step into that path and begin to live the life you desire to live.

      At the outset, I want you to realize that you already contain everything you can or want to be. There is an alchemical saying that illustrates this. It says, To produce gold, one must have gold. This is simply reaffirming the truth, that everything you need to grow into what you want to be is already within you. It can help you accomplish anything.

      I will give you a basic outline of what the Tree of Life is and a illustration that you can follow so you can see it visually. There are ten Sephirah, which are the ten emanations, or attributes, of the Infinite Deity. They are:

      Kether - Crown

      Chokmah - Wisdom

      Binah -  Understanding

      Chesed -  Mercy

      Geburah -  Severity

      Tiphareth -  Beauty

      Netzach -  Victory

      Hod  -  Splendor

      Yesod  -  Foundation

      Malkuth -  Kingdom

      The glyph can be worked at from the top or the bottom. We will work from the bottom sephirah to the top sephirah in this book, since as I said, we are working our way along the path of return. This path takes us from the physical realm, or the kingdom, back to the spirit realm, which is also known as the crown sephirah.

      This system is very elaborate and yet super simplistic. It can be used by anyone that just wants a little more information to fill in gaps they may have in their belief systems, or those who want to find connections and levels of truth they have never experienced.

      In this particular book we talk about the kingdom, which can be a confusing word depending on who you talk to. There
