    After a hefty round of witchcraft assault during a strategic season of my life and ministry, the Spirit of God urged me to write this book for Christians so that the church would not be ignorant of the enemy’s devices in matters of witchcraft infiltration and curse targeting within the church.

    …lest Satan should take advantage of us;

    for we are not ignorant of his devices.

    – 2 Corinthians 2:11 NKJV –

    I did not write this book in order to cultivate fear or apprehension but rather to empower your faith and to invite you to open your life to new levels of discernment, love, and operative kingdom authority.

    It is penned with great candidness and vulnerability based on my personal journey with God as He has walked me through pathways of understanding, warfare encounters, and revelation on this subject over a forty-year period. Many of the stories I share have never been shared with the public until now, but I believe they will be used to bring exposure of the devil’s tactics. If you can see your enemy, you can execute Christ’s victory over him.

    I am not a person who looks for a demon behind every tree, as I prefer to focus on Jesus Christ alone and His amazing attributes and Kingdom, but even Jesus gave warnings that we should beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. The Old Testament is filled with explicit instructions to God’s people regarding the forbidden practices of witchcraft,1 and Peter gave warning regarding the devil’s tactics in his epistles.

    Be sober, be vigilant;

    because your adversary the devil

    walks about like a roaring lion,

    seeking whom he may devour.

    – 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV –

    We are instructed by Paul to not be ignorant of the enemy’s schemes so he will not overtake us.

    …so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan,

    for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

    – 2 Corinthians 2:11 –

    This book is definitely not an exhaustive exposure of witchcraft or a complete study of spiritual warfare and was not meant to be. It is intended as a prophetic alert for the Body and contains limited revelation on the subject of witchcraft and its specific assaults against Christians and the Church. But the information provided here will offer enlightenment and will create hunger in your heart to grow in God’s Kingdom authority and to be fearless in the face of any adversary.

    Part Two of this book is a section entitled Victorious Warfare. Again, I want to emphasize that this is not a thorough study of the subject, but it will offer you a clear position of victory and will show you how to successfully use a few of the valuable weapons we find in Scripture.

    I have changed the names of those who share testimonies, and many of the ministries mentioned, as well as the names of the witches I reference, because the Lord desires them to be hidden and covered in Him. Their stories, however, as I remember them, will serve to reveal valuable insight that will empower your walk of faith.

    I came from a New Age/witchcraft background and am familiar with the spiritual hunger involved in those trapped in the deceptions of these practices. Everyone needs Jesus, including witches and devil worshippers. He loves them all and wants them to come to Him, and yet we are called to be discerning and to create clear boundaries where we close the doors of our life and the church to evil practices and witchcraft assaults.

    Witchcraft, sadly, is operating in the church, and many are suffering under its blatant and brutal assaults because there is lack of awareness. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, so we must always love the individuals but correctly discern the spiritual intruders, taking dominion over these evil spirits and relentlessly giving them no place of operation within the church. There can be absolutely no toleration for these practices, curses, and spells, and yet we need to know what love and wisdom look like when dealing with the actual individuals who are engaging in these deceptive practices knowingly or unknowingly. God wants you to discern accurately and to walk in His light and power, for He is coming back for a church without spot, wrinkle or blemish.

    …that He might present her to Himself a glorious church,

    not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing,

    but that she should be holy and without blemish.

    – Ephesians 5:27 NKJV –

    Although the target of my writing is to expose the operation of witchcraft within the church, it can just as equally operate within homes and families, workplaces, realms of government and any other place of influence. These teachings can perhaps give some insight into other areas of life where you identify witchcraft.

    In this book I will:

    1.      Reveal Satan’s strategies.

    2.      Reveal your God-given power and authority over all the works of the enemy.

    3.      Reveal your spiritual weapons.

    Before you read on, position yourself in Christ. You are in Him.2 Believe this truth. You are seated in heavenly places in Christ.3 Believe this. Christ is in you. Believe it. You are one with Christ; He has given you power over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall harm you!4

    I have already prayed for all who will read this book, that you will be hidden in Him and fully open to receiving divine revelation, discernment, and God-infused empowerment. No weapon formed against you can prosper and you are off limits to the enemy’s attacks as you read. You are unhindered. His light, life, and love fill you. He is a fire around you and glory in the midst of you. Your focus is on Him. I decree and declare these things over you in Jesus’ name!

    …looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,

    who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down

    at the right hand of the throne of God.

    All glory to the One who is worthy!

    Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me.

    CHAPTER ONE

    What Is Witchcraft?

    Before reading this first chapter, know that as a believer you already have the victory in Christ over all the power of the enemy and, therefore, you have nothing to fear. In the second section of this book, I will teach you how to take hold of bold confidence, with ease, in Christ’s established victory over the enemy.

    Counterfeit Power

    Scripture teaches us that the devil (once an archangel named Lucifer)5 was cast out of heaven because of his pride and rebellion. He was the covering cherub (the lead angel) in heaven who watched over the glory and the mercy seat. As a result, he was well acquainted with the throne room and the operations of God.

    "You were the anointed cherub who covers, and I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked in the midst of the stones of fire.

    "You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you.

    "By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the
