STORY-LINE THE UNFORGETTABLE SHEIKH BY BARBARA MCMAHON:The Unforgettable Sheikh, a wonderful continuance of Barbara McMahon's Ultimate Billionaires Series, highlights the old adage: What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. In book 4 we find Sheikh Karif bin Shakirah, aka Ben, and Chloe. While incognito at Berkley, Karif/Ben met and fell in love with Chloe; withholding information about his family, background, and status. Long days and nights of love, attending college and planning the future which included marriage, suddenly came to a screeching halt. Karif/Ben disappeared from Chloe's life without any explanation, never to contact her again; a naïve young Chloe's devastated for more than one reason.Ten years later, Chloe photographing the historical oil treaty between Sheikh Karif bin Shakirah, his country, and America. She's beyond shocked to find Sheikh Karif bin Shakirah's her Ben from college. Karif recognizes Chloe in the group; he's determined to renew the love of his life, the pursuit is on. Can past decisions be forgiven? Will Chloe ever trust Karif again? Why chance does the billionaire Sheikh have with a dependent hurting American woman? My reviews for romance novel, The Unforgettable Sheikh, follows.CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:In The Unforgettable Sheikh, from a wealthy and political family, Karif finds his deception will have lasting repercussions. Although he felt the deception necessary, Chloe finds betrayal. In a story-line filled with deep emotion, the reader gets a glimpse of the restrictive life of the ultra wealthy. The Unforgettable Sheikh's an intense character driven romance.Without revealing spoilers, I must say, I felt Chloe had realistic concerns, as Karif come off as domineering and overwhelming at times. In the beginning, I did not care for his character, however, as the story progressed, I saw him as more human with issues, problems, politics, and troubling family dynamics of his own. McMahon developed his character progressively throughout the book. Chloe matured, faced her fears, and issues as McMahon developed her character. The road to forever was far from smooth for these two. The reader's treated to an emotional journey of distrust, misunderstandings, jealousies, deception, interference, and misconceptions. Finally in concluding my reviews for romance novel, The Unforgettable Sheikh, I found a solid entertaining sweet romance novel. Filled with strong independents characters, an intriguing story-line, believable characters and a realistic story-line, I found this sweet, intense, clean, romance easy to read; perfect for a lazy afternoon. THE UNFORGETTABLE SHEIKH RECOMMENDATION: STARS 4Furthermore, I would not hesitate to buy this book for my self or a friend. Suitable for anyone who enjoys a sweet clean romance.FINALLY, PLEASE NOTE:In addition, I received this book from the author and chose to voluntarily review the book/novel with honest reviews for romance novel, The Unforgettable Sheikh. The Unforgettable Sheikh is a second chance romance. When Chloe was in college, she met & fell in love with Ben. They were making plans for their future when Ben disappeared without a trace. Chloe has a lot of built up anger, hurt & resentment over the change in her life & circumstances. Ben was a graduate student at Berkeley when he met & fell in love with Chloe. He was about to reveal his secret when his father fell ill & he was whisked home. Unbeknownst to him, his father intercepted his letters & made sure Ben couldn't find Chloe. Chloe couldn't find Ben since he never had a chance to tell her his secret, that he was really Sheikh Karif bin Shakirah. When they accidentally meet again, the chemistry is still strong & intense. Can Chloe forgive him for basically abandoning her? Can he forgive her for keeping her secret? Can he forgive his father for interfering? This was another enjoyable book in Barbara McMahon's Ultimate Billionaire series. Each book can be read as a stand alone since they are linked by a common subject, not intertwined storylines. The characters are believable & well developed. The plot line moves at a rapid pace but falls in line perfectly. I was happy that the writer allowed Chloe's character to hold onto her anger instead of instantly forgiving him. I did feel that Karif should have been more understanding of how difficult it would have been for Chloe to figure out who he was & how to contact him. His arrogance almost cost him though. I really enjoyed this story & think most readers will too.

The Unforgettable Sheikh by Barbara McMahon is book number four in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Sheikh Karif bin Shakirah (Ben) and Chloe McDonald's story.Another winner by Barbara McMahon! Karif and Chloe's story is a heartwarming second chance romance. Due to circumstances beyond their control they lost contact with each other. Ten years later they meet again. The chemistry and attraction is still there. Can they get beyond the betrayal they both feel? I loved this addition to the Ultimate Billionaires series. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down until I finished. A sweet, heartwarming, emotional, and sensual romance that's perfect for an afternoon escape.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
