    About Me

    Like most 30-something guys with kids, I have a very busy life. Here’s my typical day: An hour-long commute to and from work. Helping my 5 year-old with homework. Giving the kids baths. Putting them to bed. Doing dishes. Hanging out with the wife. And going to bed.

    Not to mention the community service and volunteer work that I do, visiting friends and family on the weekends, and religious and spiritual commitments that I have.

    Currently, I’m 36 with 3 kids, work a full-time job AND write books.

    But it wasn’t always like this for me.

    For the longest time I wanted to make a side income, in addition to my full-time job.

    I tried everything; creative real estate, internet marketing, blogging, starting a consulting business, and multi-level marketing.

    But nothing ever stuck.

    So What Is Mental Toughness?

    Mental toughness means looking beyond the current reality and acting with aggression, purpose, and determination to make your goal a reality.

    It means to ignore naysayers.

    It means to turn off the voice in your head that’s telling you to quite.

    It means to reject failure.

    It means to embrace struggle, knowing that you will be victorious.

    This is what separates the greatest scientists, philosophers, authors, business people, warriors, from their contemporaries.

    It means to have an internal dialogue and remind yourself:

    "I’ve got this, I love the challenge. This is easy and this is fun. I'm going to conquer this challenge. Hardship and difficulty make me stronger and I am going to succeed."
