About this ebook
With youth comes curiosity, discovery and mischief. During the teenage years the innocence of childhood evolves into more grown up pursuits, which often fills young minds with confusion and self doubt. Young bodies change and, almost over night develop the elements of maturity. Curiosity leads to discovery which leads to knowledge, while mischief almost always leads to consequences. And as these evolutions take place, young people sometimes can find themselves in compelling situations.
When Natalie looks at herself in the mirror, she is convinced no boy will ever think of her as pretty. Her nose is too long and her breasts are too small, all but non existent. Even if she does meet a boy one day, she will never let him see them. She will have to find a way to get him interested in her for some other reason.
One thing she does have is a special place she can go to get away from the trials of life. A secluded clearing next to a pond in the national forest, which isn’t very far from her house. On a particular Saturday, walking through the shadows and scrub, she is dismayed to find someone has discovered her secret place. Her dismay quickly fades. It’s a boy. A boy she recognizes but can’t remember his name. A boy that is in her biology class. A boy that is utterly naked. From that moment her life will never again be the same.
Even though through most of the 20th century nude swimming was mandated for boys on many school swim teams throughout the U.S., nudity has become one of life’s big taboos. One simply does not expose their private parts. Hiding behind the scrub close to the clearing, Natalie’s impulse to turn and quickly leave does not find its way to her feet. She is transfixed. Why did this boy take all of his clothes off? Why is she so fascinated by him? And if nudity is so terrible, why does he seem to be making it look so innocuous? Come Monday she will definitely find a way to meet him before class.

"I was born on the banks of the Amazon River and raised by a Kaiapo wet-nurse while my mother conducted medical research and taught the Kaiapo children how to play the violin. After growing up with these rain forest natives and a long bout of malaria, I went on to get my degree in rocket science at the University of Uganda (U of U). Tothis day, I have not gotten a rocket off the ground. Presently, I’m trying to raise moneyto return to the Amazon to show gratitude to my surrogate mother, whom I’ve not seen in all these years. She always wanted a car hood to use as an awning over the door to her hut. I finally found one, on a 1973 Cadillac in a wrecking yard on a two-lane highway just south of Knoxville, Tennessee. Today, I take great satisfaction inspending time with my wife, in writing, and in telling lies."Author of "Five Married Men", "A Song in the Park", "The Partisans", "Erotic Tales for Enlightened Minds", and "The Strange Haunting of Johnny Feelwater", Martin resides in Dallas and is an advocate of human diversity.
