Marylyn Gates swung her purse happily at her side. What a night she’d had. The man of her dreams had finally said he cared. If not for her late night job at the court, she would have stayed with him.

    In his arms.

In the scent of his sweating body.

His moans and hers had echoed both pleasure and mutual acceptance of hearts blossoming into fully flamed love.

    I love you!

I you, he returned with a deep kiss that left her so breathless she almost gasped for mercy when he turned her over onto him and began embracing her in another hot round of passion.

This was not a good night for her.
