      Introduction

      Hi Mike here and I’ve made this little booklet to help put you back in control of your Android mobile if it breaks down. I’ve worked in the tech field repairing/supporting networks, servers & workstations, programs & devices for years. So when I had to repair my mobile I noted what I did to fix some common problems that kept happening on apps and other functions. I kept breaking/fixing Android so much that I put a checklist together of what works for just about any Android problem except for actual physically damaged problems. I’ll go over in detail how the problems were fixed with a little advice on how to avoid them plus a couple tips to improve video and network performance to keep your mobile going strong.

      Chapter 1 : Android Fix Checklist

      App Hung

      Exit and restart app

      Hung? Exit/Clear memory & app history

      Use app boost/restart app

      Hung? Repeat step 2 then exit app & reboot mobile & restart app

      App Error? Note message prompt/erred action, do prompted action & restart app, if no message memorize erred action and restart app

      Error? Exit app, if memory use 70% or more then use mobile maintenance app to clear memory/app history, run mobile boost app, restart app

      Error? Run mobile maintenance app to stop other running apps, run temp reduction, clear memory/app history, run app boost, completely shutdown/reboot mobile and restart app

      Error? Go to mobile settings>apps ⁞ >reset app preferences(top right of apps menu ⁞ >reset) restart app and allow app permission(s) when prompted

      Error? Go to mobile settings>apps>select app>force stop, choose yes when prompted if sure as app may malfunction>choose storage>clear cache & clear data>uninstall app and reboot mobile

      Ensure no other apps are running by stopping them with mobile maintenance app, reinstall app

      Repeat steps at least once before contacting support, if a new app check requirements or choose a similar app that mobile meets/exceeds app reqs
