This book marks the culmination of many years of seeking the Lord’s face while serving His people faithfully. I have done my best to offload the burden that was laid on my heart. I thank the Lord for the manifold revelation, His guidance and strength upon me as His vessel.

My mentor and father in the Lord, Rev MM Mandavha, was used by the Lord to contribute to my life in making me the person I am today. To him I say, Long live faithful servant of the Lord, long live.

Pastor TP Masuka has contributed greatly to ensuring that the quality of this book is of international standard. He laboured fervently editing this book with such professionalism. Thank you, sir.

I thank God for my wife, Pastor Josephine, who has been a pillar of strength in my life for the past 25 years. Many women have done virtuously, but you surpass them all.

To my biological children, Abner, Jubilee, Uaripfa and Blessing, I say, I am proud of you. You shall be mighty upon the earth even more than what your father has been.

Finally, I thank the Lord for my spiritual sons and daughters at Jesus The Saviour Church for believing in me and supporting the vision that the Lord has laid in my heart.

    Foreword

If you are still wondering what the will of God is for your life, look no further. God’s Word is His Will. We can live in the fullness of God’s will and purpose for our lives on a daily basis. The clarity with which Dr Mukosi, an anointed teacher of God’s Word, shares the Word is unmistakeably Holy-Spirit-inspired. Share in this anointing and continue to break the yokes and burdens in your own life and in the lives of your beloved ones.

This book will whet your appetite for God’s Word again. It will turn you into a fair-minded Christian who, after receiving the Word of God with readiness, will search the scriptures daily for yourself to find out whether these things were so (Acts 17:11). After receiving the Word of God taught by anointed men of God, let the Holy Spirit complete His teaching ministry by branding the Word into your spirit so that this will always remain present truth to you (II Peter 1:12).

You can educate ignorance out of existence in your life. This book will help you along. Let the Word of God untie the knots in your heart. Let the Word of God dispel the doubts in your mind. This book will prepare you for simple, everyday situations and, best of all, you will also be well armed for times of overwhelming situations. When you embrace God’s Word, you embrace God’s power. The Bible encourages you to give yourself wholly to meditation on the Word of God you have received and then your progress will appear unto ALL (I Timothy 4:15).

God wants you blessed. BLESSED!!! He wants to make sure that all His blessings are manifested in your life. He has that one Word that can change your situation and circumstances and put you on dry ground. THAT WORD IS IN THIS BOOK.

The secret to prosperity. The secret to healing. Unless you are using these statements for the sake of effect, know that there is no secret to prosperity, longevity and health. The secret is in the Word of God.

God is not averse to people prospering. He delights in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27). He is the author of prosperity and success. Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health…. (3 John 2). For we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich he became poor so that we through his poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). God has made all grace to abound to us so that we, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound in all good things (2 Corinthians 9:8). This is the essence of an extraordinary life.

Never settle for less when you can have the best. Break loose from a mediocre mentality. Our Father is not amazed when we live long. He urges us to keep His Words in our hearts, for the length of days and long life and peace they will add to us (Proverbs 3:1-2). Our Father is not amazed when we are living in good health, for He is the Lord that healeth us. Give attention to God’s Words – for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-23). Have faith in God by having faith in His Word.

Meditate on the Word of God day and night. You will make all your ways prosperous and you will have good success (Joshua 1:8). Delight yourself in the Word of God and whatever you do shall prosper (Psalm 1:2-3).

Be blessed as you read Key To an Extraordinary Life. Never settle for less!! You are destined for greatness.

    REV. M.M. MANDAVHA

    Chapter 1

Time and Chance Happen to Us All

Where there is no vision people perish. Those who live without purpose lose focus. They live aimless lives with no direction. The little success they may achieve would be by coincidence rather than by design. There is a lot that happens, and we don’t know why. When something we wish for or expect doesn’t happen, we become frustrated.

After many years of experimenting with his life, King Solomon was frustrated. He bewailed the meaninglessness of life. He is known for his trademark lament, Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless (Ecclesiastes 1:1).Such is the life lived without the Creator, God. Without God, life has no meaning. Without a clear purpose, you will keep on changing directions, jobs, relationships, churches, or other externals – hoping each change will fill the emptiness in your heart (Warren, 2002). Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life. We were made to have meaning. That is why people try dubious methods, like astrology or psychics, to discover it.

The Master has written a script for each one of us. He holds the plan for each of us. We can only live a fulfilled life if we discover the plan of God for our lives – the purpose of our existence. We are all unique. We all have a special assignment. Not one of us is a copy of anybody on the whole earth. Our most important task is to discover our assignment on the earth. We discover the purpose of our existence when we make God the reference point of our lives. This is the advice we get from the book of Romans:

The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.

    (Romans 12:3c, MSG)

Once we know and understand our assignment in life, we need to be fully focused to accomplish it. There are so many opportunities that come our way on a daily basis. It is our responsibility to ensure that we do not waste any opportunity we get. Time is precious and should never be wasted. We are all blessed with the gift of time. Time is a common commodity between the rich and the poor. Despite our varied social standings, every one of us has 24 hours in a day. How do we use the time that God has given us?

It is no coincidence that you are holding this book in your hands. When God prompted me to write this book, He had you, among others, in mind. God is the author of our lives and He has planned everything beforehand. He has the full picture and He knows where each piece of the puzzle should fit. He planned our existence before the foundations of the earth. He said to Jeremiah, I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5).

This implies that we were planned by God and not by our parents. God decided on the suitable parents for each one of us in line with His plan for our lives. The circumstances around our births do not matter. Even those who were born out of wedlock – their existence on this earth is not accidental. God never does anything accidentally, and never makes mistakes. Many children are unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God (Warren, 2002). We are all here by God’s divine order.

We were created for a special purpose. We were created for good works (Ephesians 2:10). No one was created for evil deeds. Nobody was created to be a gangster, a robber or a murderer. The reason why people get involved in evil deeds is because of Satan’s influence. Although God created everything and noticed that it was beautiful, the rebellion of Lucifer (Satan) plunged this earth into chaos. There are so many things happening in this world that are not in line with God’s original plan. Tragedies befall bad people and good people alike.

King Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived. In his quest to understand what happens under the sun, he ended up realising that time and chance happen to us all. Some call it luck, while others call it divine favour or the grace of God. On the other hand, there are calamities which befall people even though they haven’t done anything wrong. We don’t understand why the fastest runner does not always win the race. Why is the strongest warrior in battle not always the winner? Note how King Solomon said it:

¹¹I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to
