Chapter 1: Different Types of Men
A baby is born every 4.2 seconds with a five percent (5%) higher probability the baby will be born a boy. More simply put, there has and never will be a shortage of men. Society and the entertainment industry will lead you to believe that there's only one soul mate for you. This is false, and this ideology was most prominent when people didn't travel or have the connection to others as they do today. The shortage
mindset is what the soul mate premise is based on, yet in reality, a shortage in people is nonexistent, as there are seven (7) billion people on the planet. In a world of constant commercialization of sex, relationship scandals, and dysfunction, it can be hard to figure out what men really want. The simple truth is that most guys actually want an honest relationship. The real question is, Who do they want the relationship with?
Don't believe me? Think of your fantasy celebrity man: has he been married?
Compatibility is the key to finding your perfect guy. Knowing the different types of men and the phases they go through in dating will allow you to discover who you are most compatible with. Knowing these different types of men will cut years off your dating life.
The Rookie
The rookie is the type of guy that won't approach you in a public setting. You will usually meet him through friends, online, or at events of common interest. He doesn't want to play the game
and can seem a bit gullible in this field. Typically single for a long period of time after his long-term relationships end, he just wants things simple. You like him; he likes you, let’s date. Genuinely having a desire to be in a long-term relationship, he generally has not gone through all the stages of dating and can have regrets about this later. Examples of rookies are men that stay in the friends
zone, have a low number of sexual partners or marry their high school sweethearts. Rookies make great long-term relationship partners.
Serial Relationship Guy
This is the guy that always wants to be in a relationship. When one relationship ends, two weeks later he has another girlfriend. He tends to move faster than the rookie and fancies the idea of romance. He might encourage living together within months of starting a relationship.
There are a lot of good qualities that the serial relationship guy possesses, as he tends to be faithful and passionate. Similar to the rookie, he envisions a long-term relationship, yet becomes more attached to his partners.
The serial relationship guy can struggle with decision-making with his partner, which can cause a slight power struggle. He moves fast after relationships end as a way of avoiding the sense of being alone. Serial relationship guys can be great to date once they are in the proper stage of their dating life (Chapter 2) but can have a short memory after a relationship ends, breaking your heart while he is off to his next relationship.
Situational Men
The situational man is usually the savviest when it comes to relationships. He changes his motives based on the women he encounters and the dating phase. He will determine his intentions with you quickly and make that his goal. If he views you as the
