      Shape Your Future

      The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power. Unknown.

      The future is unshaped. You have the power to shape it. Your thoughts, decisions and actions are what will shape the future. Yesterday is the past. Today is a gift that is why it is called the present. Tomorrow is the future. Work towards the future. Your future is full of unlimited opportunities and possibilities. You have the power not only to secure it but to shape it. The bible says the Earth was without form and void but God spoke into it and recreated it. You have the sole responsibility for your life and future. God has invested so much into your life that you cannot fail. You are full of ability. In the book of Matthew, God gave talents to the stewards according to their several abilities. You are qualified for any task. You are loaded with competencies, abilities and skills. That is what God has blessed you with. You cannot fail. You have been wired for success. You are a channel of creativity. You are full ideas. Use your ideas. Ideas rule the world. Get up and keep going. Work hard and smart. You will surely succeed.

      Who Do You Want to Be? Align your goals with your values. Project yourself deep into the future and ask: Where do I want to be? Don’t let your past shape your future. Change your thoughts. Your past thoughts created your present, but there is no need to repeat these thoughts. You can think other thoughts. You can think of what you want, irrespective of your current situation. Know that you have a bright future and you are as a matter of fact shaping your own future. It is a matter of your personal responsibility. No one can do it for you.

      Seek for Great Accomplishments

      You were designed for accomplishment, engineered for success, and endowed with the seeds of greatness. Zig Ziglar.

      Seek for great accomplishments for accomplishments give you a sense of confidence, encouragement and self actualization. Accomplishments are the building blocks that enable someone to construct a sense of themselves as a success. People who accomplish great things are just ordinary people like you seeking to do great things. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. Life is a learning process. Brian Tracy, in The Science of Motivation said, Every individual has within their abilities the capability of accomplishing extraordinary things. They just have to learn how to do it. Lao Tzu said, Accomplish but do not boast, accomplish without show, accomplish without arrogance, accomplish without grabbing, accomplish without forcing. Don’t give up when you fail.

      Every great work or achievement, every great accomplishment, has become possible by holding on to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, there comes failure and discouragement. I want you to know that no matter how old or uneducated you are, God made you, designed and equipped you to accomplish a purpose here on this earth. God told Adam, be fruitful and multiply. He was not only talking about increase or productivity but attaining great accomplishments. Great accomplishments begin with sowing and reaping. Follow your passion. Successful people achieve their extraordinary accomplishments.

      Golden Nugget # 3

      Aspire For Greatness

      When you do something best in life, you don’t really want to give it up. Roger Federer.

      Who do you aspire to be? What do you aspire to be? In life different people aspire for different things. Some may have high aspirations and others very low. The question you should pose to yourself is, What do I aspire to be. As you go through life and work toward your dreams, knowing who you are and who you aspire to be will remain the keys to your success. Becoming who you want to be isn't easy. It requires tremendous courage, perseverance and a steadfast belief in yourself. Don’t be afraid of what others say about what you aspire to do because very soon, the same people who gossiped about you will wish they were in your shoes. What you aspire to be is normally set within the purpose of God or assignment for your life.

      In order to aspire for greatness you need to condition your mindset to prepare and compete like a winner. You must press forward with a burning desire to reach your goals. Many of us feel that unless we accomplished something noteworthy, or bore a last name like Kennedy, Rockefeller, Hilton, or Obama, greatness was out of reach. Wallace D. Wattles in his life changing book, The Science of Being Great, said, Nothing was ever in any man that is not in you; no man ever had more spiritual or mental power than you can attain, or did greater things than you can accomplish. You can become what you want to be." You have been wired by God to achieve greatness. What you have to do is to believe that you can do it. You need a paradigm shift from I can’t to I can. You need an awakening to your true self.

      Golden Nugget # 4

      Use Your Mindsight

      The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walks in darkness. Ecclesiastes 2:14.

      Blind minds are worse than blind eyes. What is worse than being blind is having sight but no vision or imagination. This is the bane of a lot of people in our world today. Your imagination and thoughts create your future. We live in a world of responsibility, opportunities and possibilities where money, bills, and jobs dictate how we live and experience the world. As a result, you need to dream and imagine what can be. That is what allows us to tap into our imagination again, putting us in a position to be passionate about something. The bible says, the wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walks in darkness. (Ecclesiastes 2:14). There are so many opportunities and possibilities around us but a lot don’t see it. An Italian boss of mine said to me some years ago that in Ghana there’s a lot of money even in the gutters but we don’t see them. How true that is. There’s so much around us. You can see them only with your mindsight.

      Your mindsight is a magnet that sees and attracts great ideas, opportunities and possibilities. Ideas rule the world. You need to look deep into nature, and apply the power of imagination and visualization to enter into your future. Keep your mind open
