Mackenzie O'Brien believes the only way her overprotective brothers will stay out of her life and find loves of their own is if she is married and settled.  When an old love returns to town, Mackenzie is anxious to see if she and Grady Sullivan can pick up where they left off.  Grady tries to fight his attraction to Mackenzie.  He wants nothing to do with the spoiled little rich girl who broke his heart years ago or her ridiculous marriage scheme.  He's a cop, living on a cop's salary, and she is way out of his league.  And besides, her brothers hate him. Lila can't believe the nerve of Aidan O'Brien dragging her back to Crystal Lake for her father's funeral.  The father who disowned her fourteen years ago.  And she wants nothing to do with Aidan, although she once had feelings for him.  But that was a long time ago.  She needs to get back to L.A. before Aidan starts digging into her past. Lila is keeping secrets from him, Aidan is sure of it, and he's determined to find out what they are.  But before he can do that, he must protect her from a deranged stalker.  Or she could wind up dead.

After a tragic accident that leaves a man in a coma, race car driver Connor O'Brien runs off to Vegas to avoid coming to terms with what happened.  He is perfectly content drinking and blowing through his trust fund until a woman from his past shows up.  He knows his little sister is responsible.  Did she really think he wouldn't know Brooklyn Marsh was there to spy on him and report back to his family? Brooklyn spent years chasing after her best friend's older brother Connor although no matter what she did to try to get his attention he never once seemed to notice her.  But she needs to get his story about the accident in order to boost her career as a journalist.  Connor thinks she is there for another reason altogether and for the time being she decides it's probably best he doesn't know the truth. After a reckless night of alcohol and fun they end up in bed together and realize the next morning they got married the night before.  Of course Aidan plans to have the marriage annulled immediately, but before he has the chance Brooklyn is being questioned by the FBI.  They believe she's involved with a crime ring that has been cheating the casinos out of millions at the blackjack tables. Brooklyn agrees to help bring the leader of the organization down but Connor is furious and concerned about her safety.  How could he not have noticed this woman all these years?  She is just what he needed to put his demons to rest and help him fall asleep at night, without a pint of scotch to numb his brain first. But when he finds out he's being used just so she can get his story he wants nothing to do with her.  Can these two put their past mistakes behind them and let love heal their wounds?

Hunter's gut tells him Willow isn't being honest with him.  She knows more about the murder than she is saying.  Is she guilty or is she trying to protect someone else?  And either way, is he willing to risk everything to protect her?

Owen O'Brien has his hands full when Ivy Bangkok returns to town and starts raising havoc.  She breaks into her childhood home and starts selling off the furnishings even though she no longer owns the home.  Owen does.  But the real problems start when she becomes embroiled in her sister's life. Ivy knows her sister did not shoot her husband, no matter what Owen and the police think.  Which is why she is determined to find out who did.  But suddenly she is in the middle of a situation involving adultery, drugs and murder that has spun out of control.  While trying to protect her sister and infant niece, she may end up losing Owen, not to mention her life. Owen realizes if he doesn't step in and make Ivy face some cold hard truths, she could get herself killed.  And he is not about to let that happen no matter what.  Even if it means Ivy could be lost to him forever.  Because she's made it perfectly clear that if he isn't on her side she wants nothing to do with him.  But how is he supposed to help prove a woman's innocence when he truly believes she's a cold-blooded killer?
