      Look At The Lord More Than You Do The World

      It is all too easy to become focused on the day-to-day, and while the Lord doesn’t call us to ignore our current obligations, He does tell us to place Him far above any worldly issue. He has promised to take care of all the things you think you need to be in control of, multiple times. We are not in control of anything, except ourselves.

      With that in mind, let’s take a look at what we can keep a handle on that will bring us closer to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit than our earthly obstacles or even joys. Remember, this world is only here for a short time. Forever and ever is just around the corner!

      •  Read the Bible more than you listen to, or watch, the news or anything else

      •  Study prophecy so you can connect the news to the Lord & know the hour with confidence

      •  Study the character of God

      •  Listen to various Bible teachers, keeping Acts 17:11 in mind (These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find
