    What is your definition of complete surrender?

    Being forced to do things you don't want to do?

    Living a life of misery because you gave up control, surrendered your plans to someone else?

    Complete surrender isn't lip service. It also isn't "pick-and-choose" what you're going to give to God and what you're going to keep for yourself. It's about being all in.

    Complete surrender is saying to God, "Here are my dreams, my hopes, and my wishes. I know You created me and put them inside me. I'm getting out of the way so You can do what You do best." Surrender is enjoying the freedom that comes with giving God your whole heart and taking your hands completely off, giving Him the chance to move as only He can.

    No matter what stage you are at in your walk with God, let me invite you to take the time to ask God if there is something He would like you to surrender to Him. Then watch and see the blessings He has been waiting to give you, His child.
