      Elle and Jackson Kent were the perfect team, and worked seamlessly together. It was almost as if they could read each other’s minds. Every wagon train they came across, they would instantly know whether they would be able to take it or not. Elle would be the poor damsel in distress, stopping the wagons and distracting everyone aboard. Her ailment would change each time, an illness, broken bone, or she just couldn’t handle to heat. While everyone was trying to help her, Jackson took everything of value. It was too easy. Even after their exploits began to be known throughout the southwest, people still fell for it. The money was too easy, because nobody turn away from a poor, weak, needy woman. Fools, Elle thought to herself.

      She looked at Jackson riding a few feet ahead of her, and smiled. She really was lucky. Jackson was easily the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. His luscious curly brown ran to his neck, begging Elle to run her hands through it. His chestnut brown eyes were narrowed in concentration, looking ahead for any obstacles or upcoming wagon trains. Sweat beaded down his tanned, strong face. He oozed a tough, rugged masculinity from his very pores. He wore a brown flannel shirt, unbuttoned down to his navel, exposing his rock hard abs. Elle salivated at the thought of roaming his chest, feeling his skin on her hands. Blue denim jeans hugged his massive, muscular thighs. She envied his horse, who got to feel Jackson ride him hard all day long.

      I think I see something up ahead, Elle, Jackson called from up ahead, slowing his horse so Elle could catch up. She was thinking way too much about sex today, if they wanted to make a hit today, she was going to have to get her head straight. Today she was going for the pretty girl in a hot desert scheme, and wore a light baby blue dress. It went down to her ankle, but she made sure that her ample breasts were upfront and center, unable to be overlooked. She couldn’t look like a prostitute, but she couldn’t look too innocent either. She looked innocent enough naturally, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She was always a small girl, never any excess fat anywhere. She was shorter, but not short. She had nothing to complain about as far as her body was concerned.

      What do you see? she asked, trusting Jackson’s vision more than her own. Another wagon train. Looks like three, so it shouldn’t be too bad. You ready? he asked, finally catching up with her and grabbing her hand. Always, baby. Where are we going to go after this? My back sure is hurtin’ for a bed, she laughed. As outlaws, they rarely stayed in town. It came with the territory, too many people could possibly identify them. It wasn’t worth a bed and a hot meal to get arrested and thrown into jail. The reward for their capture was way too great at this point for anyone to turn the other way when they came by. They had to be careful. Well, we’ve never been this far south, he replied. We could probably stay one night. We just have to be careful. Maybe we can have just one night with a bed, and some real food. Spend some of this money we’ve made, he laughed.

      Jackson and Elle were from the same town, and had both grown up dirt poor. They never had an excess of anything, and never imagined that they would be able to have anything to call their own. They went to the same school, as much as they went to school. They both dropped out early on. School wouldn’t help you in the real world. It was just a rouse, to make the poor think they could change their station. There was only one way out of their kind of poverty, and it was becoming a criminal. They were always drawn to each other, and were rarely seen without the other. They were the very definition of childhood sweethearts. Through this bond, they joined together to create one of the most elusive outlaw bands in the region. Everybody knew what they were capable of, and even who they were. But nobody could catch them. Jackson would make sure that never happened. He took care of her more than any other person in her life, and Elle filled the same void within Jackson. They were perfect together.

      They both knew that they would be dragged back down into that pit of poverty if they were every caught. They would have to do anything and everything in order to keep themselves away from the authorities. Elle was willing to commit herself to Jackson, and she knew that he felt the same way. They would do whatever it took to protect each other, and they would always have complete control over their lives.

      She grabbed Jackson’s hand, and smiled at him. A bed and a real meal sounds wonderful. Let’s get this wagon, and head into town. She smiled mischievously, putting as much of her desire for him into it. He smiled back, and they took off.

      The hit went off without a hitch. As usual, the men of the wagon train stopped to help the beautiful woman on the road, and Jackson raided their supplies. There were no women on this particular expedition, which made it even easier. Every man left their wagon, and tried to help Elle. She milked the attention for all it was worth, flirting and batting her eyes, keeping their attention, and their boners, focused on her. Men were so easy to manipulate to her own desires, she thought to herself, chuckling. All she had to do was show a little skin, look pretty, and praise a man, and he would do whatever you wanted him to. It was ridiculous.

      Jackson had more time than usual, so their bounty was much more plentiful. They had more money than they even knew what to do with. Life was perfect in
