Poems For The Broken
()
About this ebook
A book of poetry, very dark, vivid, triggering material. A good read for those who have been in a dark place. Brings out a lot of emotions. Show's that a person can overcome though.

Poems For The Broken - Ariel Lynn Gill
Friend
I need your help,
but where are you,
nowhere to be found,
not even a sound,
I'm slowly breaking down,
this pain is to real,
this hurt will never heal,
all I ask,
is for you,
not to miss,
me when I'm gone,
you aren't there,
where I need you,
so now I must go,
and leave you,
the pain will fade,
and you will know,
a pain of your own,
so don't miss me now,
and don't ask how,
you had your chance,
now is my last dance,
goodbye I whisper,
the night is all that hears,
for you were nowhere,
to be found,
now they will lay me down,
deep in the ground.
A Silent Plea
As the blood pours,
there's a knock on her door,
she doesn't answer,
so they knock once more,
all they hear is a silent plea,
a silent little scream,
she tried to cover it up,
tried to hide it,
but it was to late,
they had already seen,
so they began to scream,
for the girl with the silent plea,
was lying on the floor,
watching as they saw her bleed,
the blood continually flowed,
it was now a show,
as she lay bleeding out,
they couldn't help but pout,
for they did nothing,
in all her struggle,
to help her survive,
they might as well have let her die,
so as she lay bleeding to her death,
no one was willing to take that helping step,
now as they bury the sweet little girl,
they'll never understand why she was so lost in this world.
Lay me down
Lay me down,
lay me down,
in a place
I can never be found,
lay me down,
lay me down,
before I start
to drown,
lay me down,
lay me down,
let my soul weep,
lay me down,
lay me down,
before I finally
break down,
lay me down
to breathe,
lay me down
to grieve,
lay me down,
for its time,
my part is through,
its time,
its time to lay me down,
for my final rest,
lay me down,
for I dare not take another step.
Free
She lays on the floor,
the knife by her side,
she couldn't take,
another second of this life.
It was easy for her,
she's finally free,
free from the pain,
free from the hate,
free from the cruelty,
free from all of it.
No one understands,
why she took her life,
but they never saw,
when she cried all through the nights.
She was falling apart more and more,
until finally she just,
had to give up.
So it was easy for her.
Now she's finally free.
No More Tears
She sits in the corner of her room
They have no idea
They can't see her pain and hidden fear
She’s so tired of all the tears
She can't figure it out
She says she can't take it
She falls into an endless pit
She’s depressed and broken
No one can tell
She screams out for help
No one heard her
Not once did they
So she makes a promise
After these tears no more
She pulls out her best friend
A sliver little blade
She says goodbye And kisses her life Goodnight.
Safe
Just a broken little girl
trapped in this world
looking for an escape
just can't get away from her fate
falling apart
scared and lost
not sure where to turn
only one place to run
she’s safe in your arms
so hold her tight
all through this cold night
don’t
