About this ebook
This book contains a collection of eight line poems in the order they were produced. For the mathematically minded the Fibonacci series lies at the heart of the book. This release has been split into four parts purely to give the table of contents a bit of structure. This book was originally released via Gutenberg Self Publishing.
Mu Pi Chan
Mu Pi Chan was born in 1959 in a house that was then in the County of Essex, but which now lies within the London Borough of Havering. He was brought up from a very early age just outside Southend-on-Sea (Essex). He spent three years at the University of Kent at Canterbury (Kent), and has subsequently lived In St Albans (Hertfordshire), Guildford (Surrey), and Romsey (Hampshire).Mu Pi Chan has released a number of volumes of poetry (through Project Gutenberg) covering the period 1973 to 2019. Most of Mu Pi Chan's poetry is inspired by the world around him, particularly the natural world and the people of which he is fond. Other sources of inspiration are the works of other poets and books on philosophy, science, and religion. His poems include a number of parodies, jokes and poetic aphorisms based on these readings.Mu Pi Chan firmly believes that writing poetry allows him to release the thoughts in his head which would otherwise drive him mad.

Eight and Thirteen - Mu Pi Chan
Part 1 - The Rise
December 2012
Hope comes
And hope goes
The fear grows stronger
Because i do not know
What life will bring
Or time unfold
My heart it's solid
And my emotions cold
January 2013
Now i am gone
Think this of me
That what you saw
And what you now see
Are merely points
In space and time
That do not show
The extent of my mind
February 2013
I do not know
What you should be
With the setting sun
Bearing down on thee
And i cannot say
What you should do
At the highest
