Seattle is liberal, avant-garde, socially progressive and artsy. Yeah, not a city that would come to mind when you mention "American Christian Values". Mars Hill Church flourished in the urban Ballard neighborhood at a time when the Barna research group reported Seattle was the least churched city in the US. With the crowds of people seeking God and learning about faith came the challenges of people needing relational, family and marital hopefulness as well as those seeking freedom from life-threatening addictions.
