The Keto diet  The Keto diet, also known as the Ketogenic diet is currently the #1 health trend in Google. Some say it's a fad diet but the truth is that the Keto diet is really a therapeutic diet used first used for the treatment of Epilepsia.  Scientific studies dating back to the beginning of the century has proven its efficiency in reducing seizure events significantly particularly in young children. Atkin's was the first to bring the Keto Diet forward in the 1960's by cardiologist Robert C. Atkins as a weight loss approach.  The Atkins Diet has several phases, starting out with a very low carbohydrate eating plan. The Atkins Diet formally called the Atkins Nutritional Approach, is credited with launching the low-carb diet trend we know today as the Keto Diet. Keto Diet: Can it be dangerous for women? Is it possible that the Keto Diet could be dangerous for us as women? Is it different for women than men?  What are the risks for women that decide to adopt the keto diet?
