He is a former Digital Arts Instructor at Oneida  High School and adjunct professor at SUNY Institute of Technology. Ryan has been named an Apple Distinguished Educator, Plickers Ambassador, and is a Google Certified Educator. Outside of his district, Ryan creates and presents professional development for NYS schools and NYSCATE (New York State Computers And Technology in Education).  Ryan is passionate about effective uses of technology in the classroom and empowering students to curate their own learning experience.
