Description

intelligent Tactical Training
Maybe you've noticed the trend of intelligent strength and conditioning infiltrating one of the most guarded niche of athlete, the Military. In an environment where instructors try to find the delicate balance between physical and psychological stress, many miss the mark entirely. The result can be as benign as inhibited performance gainzz and as severe as chronic injury. But luckily our guest, Ranger Veteran and TSAC Program Manager Nate Palin is leading the charge to equip Military and LEO athletes with the knowledge to develop more effective soldiers and first responders.

According to Nate Palin, the biggest misconception about military athletes is that they all go through the same training so they should all have the same performance markers. Not the case. As we know, there's a whole host of variables responsible for the current state of an individual athlete. Prior training, injuries, genetic propensity, and biomechanics are just a few. So while we often group military units into one group, some need to be stronger (much stronger), and some need more conditioning. Imagine that? Simplicity and individualized adjustments in programming can not only get you stronger and faster but make you more suited for combat.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Now for a word about the Johnnie WOD Training Camp on April 26 and 27. To me it sounds like one big pillow fight disguised as a full on brofest. Which I'm inclined to like the sound of both. Basically you're going to turn up in Dripping Springs, Tx and train hard, eat hard, and cuddle even harder. That's right. Johnnie WOD brings a whole new meaning to the term "meat sweats" and there is only one way to experience it. Live, in-person, and shirtless. If you're uncomfortable, several dozen beers will help.
