What Danielle and Jordan Nuhfer thought was going to be a simple vegetable garden turned into a space where neighbors shared their bounties and a place where they were able to connect with people who lived in the neighborhood and may never have met. They started Grow Your Own Freedom in order to share their urban farming know how with others, and plan to make their backyard an educational space.
