He later went on to study at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich, earning a Diploma in Analytical Psychology in 1986. Since then, he has been in private practice in Hartford, Connecticut. For many years he has conducted seminars for the Connecticut Association for Jungian Psychology. His current series, A Study of C.G. Gary Sparks, is titled The Meaning of the Red Book Today and will be held in West Hartford this Spring.Today’s topic emerged from a question I had been asked: is Jung still relevant today? I then happened across a page on the Connecticut Association of Jungian Psychology’s website, Why is Jung Important to Our Times?, so I’ve asked Dr. Scherer to discuss it with me here today. This interview was recorded on Friday, December 14, 2018. It is 01:12:07 long and 64 MB. You can listen to it right here in your browser or download it directly to your computer.
