When living with ADHD, assigning value to things that we believe are important to us can be challenging. It’s easy to underestimate the emotional weight we’re giving to something we want, which can lead to clutter, disorganization, and expense, and of course this can lead to shame and stagnation. So it’s important to get a handle on our ability to rationally think through the value you ascribe to our efforts before it gets out of hand! This week on the show, we’re talking about invented value, the value we ascribe to things that is ultimately made up, but that defines our emotional approach to them all the same!
