FileNet Issues : 1) Content Engine Down When Content Engine is down we will get the error like below

Solution : Have to restart or Reboot the Content Engine in cob-wasfilep-1 Server (Namdev has credentials and he can restart it for us.) 2) Process Engine is Down :If PE(Running on Windows) is down we will get the error like below one

Solution: Connect to cob-wasmiscp-01 server(Running on Windows 2003) by using Remote Desktop Connection with credentials of uid:fnsw Password: Filenet1 .you will get the screen like below one.

Open The Process Task Manager

Satrt the server by using start button. Some times you may need to Restart the Process Engine. 3) Application Engine Is Down :Some time users are not able to see the Login screen. This is due to Application Engine down.

Solution :Restart the applications(migration,Anacostia etc) in cob-wasfilep-01 server or restart the whole server.(Namdev will restart for us).

4) Preference File Issues: These type of issues will come once application Engine restarts. In this case users wont get the correct screens i.e Anacostia users get cct library screen and SOP users get opinions screens. Below are the applications and their Preference file s we are using in production Migration users http://cob-wasfilep-01:19083/migration -- migration http://cob-wasfilep-01:19083/ancLib -- AnacostiaLibrary http://cob-wasfilep-01:19083/SOP ---Standard Operating Procedures http://cob-wasfilep-01:19083/cct --CCT Scanned Resources http://cob-wasfilep-01:19083/opinions -- opinions Solution : Open application in Browse mode( after logging in click on browse) then select Tools ->Administration ->Site preferences like below screen shot

Click on Bootstrap which is left side navigation like below one

Change Preference name according to application (wriiten all the application urls And preference file names above) Wait for 5 mins and open the application again.

5) If Connection Point is not set we will get the issue lioke below one.

Solution : Go to AdministartionSitepreferences General And we will get the screen like below one.

Set Process Engin Connection Point to PECP

And click on ok..
