Honorable Rector, I am writing to you to express my interest in applying for a Master of Science program in Health Informatics which will begin on 3rd September 2012 in your institution. I am working for Health Institute since 2003. Regarding competencies in informatics and level of knowledge I already have, and my commitment to serve my Institute, I feel motivated to apply for pursuing this program. This will help me upgrade my knowledge and skills to serve more in the development of academic teaching, reasearch and community outreach activities focussing to health facilities. As expectations, I hope that, after completing this program, I will be able to provide problem-solving solutions and communication with the goal of creating health informatics leadership towards a standardized delivery of compassionate patient care; besides, I will emphasize my frank collaboration in group projects, where we can have the opportunity to exchange professional experiences and insights in relation to the newly emerging field of health informatics.
