RAMOS City Mayor Cavite City Dear Mayor Ramos: Greetings from the Officers, Men and Women of Cavite City Component Police Station! This has reference to the series of crime incidents that transpired within the areas of Barangays 30, 36, 36A, 37, 37A, 48 and 48A here in Cavite City for the period January 2008 to March 2011. Please be informed that as of March 2011, there were __________ crime incidents recorded in the said areas. Out of these reported cases, _____ were heinous crimes (Murder, Homicide) and ________ were drug-related incidents which are very rampant in the said areas. Seeing the drug cases as very alarming, this Station, although playing only a support role, initiated some coordination meetings and operations with other law enforcement agencies for the conduct of Anti- Illegal Drugs operations. (Attached is the consolidated data for your reference and perusal.) In line with this, to lessen and ultimately to stop these gruesome crime incidents especially drug cases, this Station recommends the following for your approval:

a. Request for Augmentation of Troops (one team) either from Regional Public
Safety Battalion (RPSB) or Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) to be stationed at Brgy. Hall of Bagong Pook, Cavite City. Rotation of augmentation troops every two (2) weeks to avoid familiarity. Passing of Ordinance setting curfew from 10:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M. to be implemented by the augmentation troops, local police and Barangay Officials. Additional provision from the Local Government Unit to support logistical and operational requirements of the unit concerned. Training and utilizing of the force multipliers such as the BPATs and BINs.

Please rest assured that this Station will continue with its mandated tasks in coordination with other law enforcement agencies to finally RESOLVE and prevent such incidents to transpire again in Cavite City.
