The focus of the unit is to consolidate your skills and knowledge for necessary for writing a range of simple texts within a community, education, or vocational context.

Application of Unit:
This unit applies to you when you want to develop writing skills for employment, education and/or community participation. See Australian Core Skills framework levels of Performance for more detail.

You need to be able to identify the audience for your writing and have a clearly defined purpose and structure.
