Immediate Press Release Date: August 28, 2012 MPM: 1/ 2012 (1) We, the eleven members of the

Mission for Peace in Motherland (MPM), who have participated in the struggle for democracy in Burma since before and after the 8.8.88 the nation wide people uprising in various ways and taking the leading positions in many organizations, are organized in the practice of collective leadership and take complete responsibility of each and individual in action. We have been observing the changing the political transactional at all time. (2) We took serious consideration of the announcement that the Government stated the exiles. The (88) Generations, who have been in prison for almost two decades, also stated that the (88) Revolutionaries should be welcome home to participate in the political process. (3) We took serious consideration of the announcement released by the Government of Myanmar regarding the exiles. The (88) Revolutionaries, to come back home just after releasing of the (88) Generation leaders, who have been in prison for almost two decades, in the beginning of this year. (4) We were very much appreciated and took serious consideration that the (88) Generations announcement in which all the exiled revolutionaries should be welcome home with full of dignity and integrity. (5) After we have been taking serious interaction and long discussion during the past six months with holding the principle of going back to our motherland with full of dignity and integrity, we set two objectives: (a) to observe the political transaction in the closed range; (b) to do collaboration getting along with the respectable internal political organizations. All of the members except U Thet Htun will join Peace Delegation for Motherland for the first time in during the 24 years of our revolutionary period.
