GLOSSARY

F9: send and receives e-mails after update the internet connection. .pst: file extension that stores all the e-mails. POP: Post Office Protocol. (POP, POP1, POP2, POP3). This protocol is used to obtain the e-mails stored in a remote server. IMAP: Internet Message Access Protocol. This protocol is more complex that POP3 because it permits to visualize the messages remotely and not to download the e-mails as POP3 do. TLS: Transport Layer Security, and SSL: Secure Sockets Layer. These are cryptographic protocols which give secure communication in a network.
