You are welcome and we are glad you could join us to honor and celebrate our Mum as she

marks fifty years of her sojourn in this world. This 50th birthday heralds the rebirth of a relaxed lady who has fulfilled her obligations. Therefore, the party is a good time to say Thank You to our mum, sister, grandma and friend for finding room in her heart for us every day. Its our way of reminding her that well always be here for her; its also an avenue of saying WE love YOU very much. Above all, a great way to say THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR BLESSINGS AND LIFE, because if not God (Psalms 124). We have put together this program booklet for you our family, friends, wellwishers, and for those who would like to get to know Mrs. Bridget Pepple a little more. Since we havent had a chance to meet all of you, we want to be able to share some information about the celebrant. A Pepple photo family event wouldnt be that if there are no photos, so youll find a nice album collection in here. Please feel free to browse through, enjoy the picture story, soak up the music, refreshments, sign our guestbook, and literally rock the partybecause MOMA B is fifty and nifty! Love, Adaobi, Mina, Peter, Rose, Michel and Ben (In memory of our beloved dad)

Have you ever dreamt of being a God fearing successful business woman, mum, grand mum and still look Fantastic? Mrs. Bridget Pepple (nee Okongwu) fulfilled that dream and still looks Fabulous at 50!! As some will say she looks 21, acts 20 and feels 9. Mrs. Bridget Pepple sometimes called Moma B!!(B for Brave, Brilliant and Beautiful) is the fourth of eleven children born in 1962 to (late) Stephen and Theresa Okongwu. She is a native of Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area in Anambra State, but grew up in Aba, attending both primary and commercial secondary school in the same city. Unfortunately, due to financial challenges her family encountered at the time, Bridget had to withdraw from secondary school just before completion. She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood but amidst all, she was still very vibrant. As a young child, shed dance for minutes whenever and wherever she heard music. Bridget always went along side with her mother to their family restaurant, where she was nicknamed Bournvita for her cuteness and cheerfulness. Not long after she left school, she took up a job at Fazal Hospital, Aba, as a support staff in the hope of easing the financial straits of her family. It was during this time that she met (late) Engr. Emmanuel Pepple. The pair was matched up by his Mum, the late Mrs. Susan Pepple, who lived on the same street as Bridgets family and had known her from childhood. Unknown to Bridget, her neighbour had been watching her and was impressed with her good character, beauty and brains. Shortly after the couple was introduced, they got married and Bridget relocated to Port Harcourt with her husband. They lived at Rumuola, Port Harcourt for a year before moving into their own house at Federal Housing Estate, Woji P.H. Bridget was born into a devout Catholic family and was baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Aba. However, a few years after moving to Port Harcourt, she became born again, re-dedicated her life to Christ and was baptized by immersion in the Assemblies of God Church. Since then Bridget has remained a strong member of the church, participating in the Womens Ministry.

(Late) Engr. and Mrs. Pepple are blessed with six wonderful children (3 boys and 3 girls), who are very closely spaced. Like other things in her life, God did miracles with her childbirths as they were usually uncomplicated, so much so that one of her sons was born outside their house in Woji Estate and another was born in the back of a cab (taxi) on the way to the hospital. Over the years, Bridgets children like most other children their age, would get into some mischief and get a tasting of the stingy lash of their mothers cane. Moma B raised her children in a firm way to love and fear God. With the strict upbringing they all received, it is no surprise that they all turned out the way they did- focused, caring and grounded in things that matter. Undeniably, God loves her and has kept both her and her children in the hollow of His hand. Although Bridget gave up school twice to support her family, she never lost sight of the importance of good education. She and her husband strived to give her children the best education possible. Unfortunately, with the death of her husband in 2005, 24 years into their marriage, she was left with the sole responsibility of continuing this dream. Even through tough circumstances, God has rewarded her efforts and sacrifices with success as 5 of her six children have graduated from the university, bagging multiple degrees, awards and certifications in various disciplines. For Bridget, her children are the first class degree she never had the opportunity to get. With all her accomplishments, she never fails to ascribe it all to God. She uses the phrase If not God.! so often that people now call her that. Really, looking at Bridgets life journey for the past 50 years should make anyone awed by the magnificence of God, awed by the perfection of his ways and awed by the love and mercy he consistently shows her. The hand of God has caused Bridget to be surrounded, not only by family and friends who love her, but more importantly, people who know and love the lord. In addition to her six children, Bridget is blessed with two more sons (or as some may call them, sons-in-law), Joseph Adie and James Esentia and five very cute grandchildren (Jayna, David, Jaymin, Daniel and Jayden). She seizes every opportunity to give back to her community and encourages young people to get a good education and put God first in their marriage. Her life example teaches us to follow our dreams, no matter how big, no matter the obstacles! When Moma B is not engaged with her business or in church activities, she enjoys dancing, watching nollywood movies or traveling to be with family.

DATA Moma, if there was an award called the Worlds Best Mother, you would win it every year. If there is a word in the dictionary to describe a woman as loving, wonderful, caring and affectionate like you, Id paint the whole world red with it. Since there is no such word, accept my humble wishes on your 50th birthday. MINA This tribute was quite tricky to write (like Jayna would say) because what you mean to me is something I can never express with words. All the gold and diamonds on earth cannot match the shine of, or pay for the love and care you have given me. You are indeed a great mother and Im thankful that God gave me the priceless gift of life through you. Mom, it is your steadfast faith and prayer that has held our family together. You're literally on your toes for us all year round. So, today sit and raise your feet, bend and dance, pop the champagne and red wine have fun, because honestly, I cant think of any other person that deserves it more. One word of advice though, at fifty nothing should come to you as a surprise, so no more stressing, fretting or shouting. Just remember who and whose you and the world will be oyster. Relax, smile and keep looking amazing as you rock the second half! Happy half century, Mom. Love you loads. PETER GOD gave me a sweet life by giving me a sweet and lovely mother; who always gives the best to her children. She is ever loving and caring to me even when things are difficult. I love you Mummy. Happy 50th Birthday Celebration. NNENNE Nwanyi Nma good woman, like I call her, is the greatest Mom. A thoughtful lady that works so smart and is always there as my life guards. She places others before herself. Nwanyi Nma! You're the best. You gave me life and all the rest. You're getting older, but you're still the same *winks*. I'm sure this owes to your good heart. On this special day, I just want to say I don't know how I will repay. Eternally grateful I am. Nwanyi Nma! I wish you a great 50th birthday celebration, as I wish you more sweet years, happiness, good health and internal wealth. MICHEL A very special woman has just completed 50 golden years of her life; my lovely mother whose beauty never grows old. My hearty congratulations on the golden jubilee celebrations! Lets pour wine and let the drums roll, as you watch your life unfurl. Now that you are free of several responsibilities, you can sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. May your spirit never grow old, Mother...love you.

BEN My mother is a gift to us all; a beautiful woman so strong, who loves and cares, who spends her energy/resources on others rather than herself. Today's her 50th birthday celebration; therefore, I would love to use this medium to wish her many more years filled with joy, cheer, smiles and laughter, Moma!...Hope your 50th birthday brings all these and more, filling your life with surprises and joy galore! Felicitations, Moma.

Joseph Adie (son-in-law) Dear Mother-in-Law,

Today I want to thank you for all the special things you do; you always put others first, you are loving, caring, patient and kind. Wishing you good health, happiness and many more birthdays ahead. HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY.
James Esentia (son-in-law) Mummee, You have given the word mother-in-law a new meaning. To me, it means Mother! You inspire me in so many ways; you've taught me to look for my black goat in daylight! And in you, I have seen the value of independence, hard work and sheer determination. We celebrate with you today as you turn 50, but more importantly we look forward to celebrating 100 with you and that's probably when you will actually look 50 or even less!. Thanks for being our mother all these years! God bless you and keep you! Happy Birthday and Best Regards!

Uju (sister)
Youve been a wonderful sister. As our late mum fondly called you, NWAOFURU so youve remained ever stainless and ever young. Many people desire to be like you. You are indeed blessed and have been a blessing to many. May you continue to enjoy victory without a fight and may God take you from glory to glory till you see Jesus. Happy Birthday, Sister. Love always.

Jayna (granddaughter)
Grandmas Birthday is the most special day ever, because if grandma was not born, mummy wouldnt have been born and then I wouldn't have been born either! You are the best grandma in the whole world. I love you. Cant wait for lots of Chukun hohoho at the party!

50 and Fabulous! Blessed and favoured since 1962. Shes 50? I demand a recount! I pray God leads you into a ripe old age; a time when Facebook, Twitter and iPad will seem like black and white television sets to your great-greatgrandchildren. Thumbs up! yori yori grandma. At 50, life looks different when it does not saddle you with responsibilities and ambition. Now is the time to enjoy life! Youve been a star from birth...keep shining. 5 Decades and counting If not God. Youre a Classic, you get better with age. Keep calm, you are only 50. It took 50 years to look that damn good? Your life has been a miracle. I give God the glory cos he has even greater plans for you. She still got swag at 50. Shes not 50...just 21 with 29 years experience. 18250 days old, but whos counting? Who knew 50 could look this good? I admit it; you look hot for 50. At fifty, nothing should shock you or surprise you out of your wits. Since you've been-there-done-that, let everything amuse you.
