22, 2012 6:30PM CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Bob Martini, Pres. PRESENT: Bob Martini, Connie Anderson, Norris Ross, Scott Eshelman, Michele Sadauskas, Jean Roach, Stephanie Boismenue, Tom Rudolph, Bob Mott, Bill Jaeger AGENDA: Approved MINUTES: Minutes of Sept. 17, 2012 meeting were available for members to read. Motion to approve by Norris Ross, second by Scott Eshelman. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS: None REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES: TREASURER: No report. Rob Hagge is out of the country. NOMINATIONS: No report MEMBERSHIP: Kathy Noel recently completed the Lake Leader Program. She presented her research on membership and ideas as how to increase same. Each Board member was asked to review her research and make any necessary corrections, get additional contact persons, and make any e-mail corrections. Send this information to Kathy. OTHER COMMITTEES: COUNTY GOVERNMENT: Tom Rudolph reports that the County is hiring a Conservation/Natural Resource Development Agent to replace Dan Kuzlik. Youth Development Agent position has been reduced to half-time in spite of the fact that UWEX pays 60% of the position wage. PUBLICITY: Newsletter: No report. Website: Scott Eshelman reported on a proposed website design. GOALS.PRIORITIES/ STRATEGIC PLANNING: No report. OLD BUSINESS: AIS UPDATE: Michlele Sadauskas reported that the DNR grant application was approved for $47,000. ZONING UPDATE: Bob Martini reported on hearings on flat roofed boat houses to be held in Nov. No hearings for Shoreline Protection Ordinance Revision have been scheduled.
