Astrology of the Maharajas well in UK

There's been much discussion over British aid to booming India, but in the 19th Century a village in southern England was saved by aid coming the other way. It was the mid-1800s in southeast England, and a little boy was being beaten by his mother for drinking the last of the water in their house during a drought. Thousands of miles away in India, the story was narrated by Edward Anderdon Reade, acting governor general of the United Provinces, to the Maharajah of Benares (now Varanasi) at the latter's palace over dinner. Moved by the story from the Chiltern Hills, the Maharajah agreed to fund the sinking of a well in the village of Stoke Row, still recognisable today by the golden elephant that adorns it. The construction, known as the Maharajah's Well, was the first of several in the region. All were funded by royals and other benefactors from India, inspired by the Maharajah of Benares's example. Officially opened on 24 May 1864, the well cost 353. For comparison, a cottage for the caretaker - built alongside - cost 74 14s 6d. On 21st May 1864, a Lunar Eclipse at Stoke Row had 22Vi39 arising conjunct the star Alkes of Crater. George Noonan associates Alkes with be those who are very protective regarding water resources and also builders of canals (and wells?) [Fixed Stars and Judicial Astrology, 1990, p.53.] The Sun in the 1864 eclipse chart was at 1ge ,a point that is currently squared by Neptune [1pi]. The Sun-Neptune square appears in solar return chart for the eclipse. And not very surprisingly the progressed meridian for 29th November (the date of the story) touches the Sun-Neptune square.

Neptune is conjunct the star Fomalhaut associated with humanitarian work as well as with the element of water. Alpha () Piscis Austrinus, Fomalhaut, is a reddish star in the mouth of the Southern Fish, Piscis Austrinus receiving a stream of water from the water bearers urn an appropriate symbol for His Majestys compassion for a drought ridden southeast England in 1864.

And the greatest surprise comes when we look at the Sabian symbol of the Lunar Eclipse of 28th November at 6ge47 which incidentally falls conjunct IC and South Node of the progressed solar return chart (above)!! PHASE 67 (GEMINI 7): A WELL WITH BUCKET AND ROPE UNDER THE SHADE OF MAJESTIC TREES
