A celebration that may only happen once in your lifetime; the historic re-election of President Barack Obama. It was amazing he won the election four years ago. Given the economic challenges he faced in his first term and strong opposition from the right, it is even more amazing he was re-elected. A big part of why he was re-elected was you Its time to celebrate!! The Metropolitan Club is the only venue in town suited to house such an event. Its lavish dcor is perfect for this event. The state of the art sound system will make listening to the band and our DJ breath taking. The MC for the entire evening will be the Popular Walter Q-Bear Banks Jr. KMOJ 7:00: 8:30: Door open Performance by National Recording Artist, Ray Covington and Jay Most. Enjoy the performance while enjoying some of the best Hors doeuvres in the Twin Cities. Get out on the floor and dance with The Lady of Line Dance, Tina Jackson Party on with the Music Host, Smooth DJ Malcolm playing old school R&B, Steppers Music and much more. While the party keeps going, you will get to enjoy key Obama moments on the big screens. Hear inspirational words from one of our community leaders, Judge Pamela Alexander. Followed by a Video Tribute to Barack Obama and a midnight toast Party on with DJ Malcolm!
