Attention: SupplylFood Service OfficerlLeading Culinary Specialist
Purpose: NAVSUP N3/4 and BSC announce the release ofFSM version 3.0.4
Discussion: Log into FSM3 and check the lower left portion of the main screen to
verify version 3.0.4 is installed. If you do not have version 3.0.4, contact Ship's ITs or
your Navy Food Management Team FSM analyst for assistance. This release includes
various fixes, additions, and user help tools.
Food Service Officers, Leading Culinary Specialists, and Recordskeepers are directed to
access the FSM3 user's wiki to review details of the upgrade and improvements in
functionality at: https:llapplications.navsup.nayy.milIFSMwikilindex.phplMain Page
We have had problems with ships reverting back to DOS FSM after FSM3
installation. This causes the BSC team to contact the ship, push clean-up scripts via
replication to the ship, have the ship's ITs run scripts, clean out the database of all startup
data, re-input the ships data, and lastly rerun ALL the pre start-up data conversion on the
new close out files. There is time lost by NA VSUP who has to do all the pre activation
procedures again. These are the same folks who are trying to get the rest of the Fleet
activated and work on other more pressing sustainment issues.
"PLEASE DO NOT REVERT BACK TO DOS FSM".
Any further questions or concerns please contact Beverley Singson, Food Service Policy,
