IT IS AND HAS BEEN POLITICS OVER SCIENCE. A quote by Mark Twain seems very appropriate here: It aint what you dont know that gets you into troubleits what you know for sure that just aint so. We can best facilitate understanding and retention of the breadth and depth of this subject matter by asking these three questions: Is it safe? Is it effective? Is it legal? WATER FLUOIDATION IS A MEDICAL TRAVESTY - IS IT SAFE? NO! On January 7, 2011, the EPA came out with a suggested lowering of the standard concentration of fluoride in the public water supplies to .7 ppm across the board (it had been 1.2 ppm in the North and .7 ppm in the South). Three days later, the EPA announced, in a conference call to The Fluoride Action Network, a not-forprofit fluoride research group and think tank; the Environmental Working Group, a D.C. environmental advocacy group and think tank, and Beyond Pesticides, that they were not going to approve DOW Chemicals continued use of sulfuryl fluoride as a fumigant (think VIKANEthe house-tenting gas that kills everything) for use on produce, nuts and stored grains. That was the first time that the EPA ever backed off from a DOW Chemical request! What happened that would make the EPA suddenly do a 100MPH retreat on water fluoridation? They discovered that they were reaping what they sowed. In November/December of 2010, the CDC came out with the results of their study: Prevalence and Severity of Dental Fluorosis in the United States, 1999-2004. It was major wake-up call. The 65-year flood of water fluoridation had created a tsunami of dental fluorosis; the study reported that 40.7 % of the 1215 year old had dental fluorosis. This is of epidemic proportions. And guess what? These numbers were already stalethey were 712 years old. What are they today, 50%, 60%? Also, the numbers for very mild, mild, moderate and severe fluorosis were up anywhere from 66% to 177% from the 19861987 surveys, in just the 12-year period! The numbers are even worse for African American & Hispanic children: 30-40%. The chickens came home to roost. You reap what you sow! Dental fluorosis has been given short shrift by many in government and various dental associations, in an attempt to mitigate/disguise the vital seriousness of this affliction as merely a slight cosmetic effect. It is considered a medical given that if fluoride poisoning shows up in the teeth as dental fluorosis, it is in that childs entire skeletal structure. Since fluoride is a cumulative poison, healthy kidneys only get rid of approximately 50% in adults. Children only excrete 20% of the fluoride in their bodies, which is why they retain more percentage-wise and get over-dosed so easily. The remaining 5080% accumulates in the bones, the pineal gland, the hippocampus, the thyroid, the aorta, the kidneys, etc., and its PERMANENT! SAFE? ETHICAL? Fixing dental fluorosis can be a very expensive proposition: veneers and their replacements over the years can cost $50-100,000. And, if it gets too bad, the teeth just crumble and have to be replaced. African Americans and Hispanics have an even greater disproportionate impact to dental fluorosis, kidney disease and diabetes, which I will cover under the heading: Fluoride-Gate. Lawsuits are starting to be filed. (See Is it Legal? on page 16.) WE HAVE JUST PERMANENTLY DISFIGURED A WHOLE GENERATION OF 12-15 YEAR OLD CHILDREN! SAFE? ETHICAL? Definition of a catastrophic epidemic: do 16,700,000 children qualify? If this isnt Child Abuse what is? This is just the Tip-of-the-Iceberg. 6

BABIES Teeth can be fixed. Now, let us talk about brain damage to pre-natal and just-born children whose mothers were exposed to water fluoridation. You need to know that there are 26 peerreviewed human studies from around the world and over 100 peer-reviewed animal studies that show reductions in IQ of 5-10 points, learning disabilities, predisposition to Autism and Down syndrome, ADD and ADHD, as a result of fluorides. The CDC reported a 57% increase in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) since 2002: I case per 2000 children pre1980, 6 cases per 1000 in the 1990s, and now up to 12 cases per 1000. Environmental Poisoning! So what are young mothers to do? They have to drink the fluoridated tap water containing toxic waste, and feed and bathe their babies in it: because they cant afford to do otherwise! SAFE? ETHICAL? STUDIES LINK FLUORIDE TO PRE-TERM BIRTH AND ANEMIA IN PREGNANCY Dr. AK Susheela , a leading Pediatrician and world-wide respected fluoride researcher in India said, Anemia in pregnancy can lead to maternal and infant mortality despite nutritional counseling and maternal iron and folic acid supplementation. Fluoride avoidance regenerated the intestinal lining which enhanced the absorption of nutrients. In Current Science, May 2010) Current Science also reports that adverse reactions (allergic and high sensitivities of fluoride consumption) are known to occur including reducing red blood cells, reducing blood folic acid activity, inhibiting vitamin B12 production and the non-absorption of nutrients for hemoglobin biosynthesis. State University of New York researchers found more premature births in fluoridated than non-fluoridated upstate New York communities. (Presentation to the 2009 American Public Health Association Meeting) Published research shows fluoride can interfere with the reproductive system. www.fluoridealert.org/health/repro. Approximately half of the newborns and infants I see in practice are fed formula reconstituted with fluoridated water, which I find alarming since the blood-brain barrier is not even developed until 6 months of age, placing these young infants at risk for neurotoxic effects that can be severe and permanent, says Dr. Yolanda Whyte, a pediatrician in Georgia. Parents should be warned not to give fluoridated water to babies and children, and they should know that fluorine is also present in juice and other water-reconstituted beverages. I diagnose dental fluorosis on average 5 times daily, but fluoride doesnt only affect teeth, it can potentially affect the brain and nervous system, kidneys, bones, and other tissues in young children during their critical stages of organ development. A public awareness campaign is urgently needed. (Oct. 7, 2010 PR Newswire) Journal of the American Dental Association, cover story (October 2010): Fluoride intakes during each of the first 4 years were individually significantly related to fluorosis on maxillary incisors, with the first year most important, and that infant formulas reconstituted 7

with higher fluoride water can provide 100 to 200 times more fluoride than breast milk or cows milk. That is an absolute no-no! Mothers breast milk in non-fluoridated areas has a fluoride concentration of .004 ppm, .007 in fluoridated areas. At .7 ppm to 1 ppm, that is 100 to 250 times what Mother Nature provides! Which do you think is best? Leonardo Da Vinci said, Nature never goes back on its own laws. ADULTS Adult autism is rising. And, there is a new case of Altzheimers every 70 seconds! There are now 5.3 million patients in the U.S. Altzheimers and dementia triple healthcare costs in those age 65 and over. Even after adjusting for increased longevity, the rate is increasing. Altzheimers is now the 6th leading cause of death with direct and indirect costs to Medicare/Medicaid of $148 Billion/year and rising. Fluoride is more poisonous/toxic than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. Handbook of Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products- 5th Edition But, it is the toxic potentiated compounds that fluoride forms with lead, arsenic, aluminum, mercury, chromium, beryllium, uranium etc. that cross the placental and blood brain barriers that do the damage! And, not only do these fluoride compounds accumulate in the bones, brain, kidneys, hippocampus, thyroid and pineal glands, aorta and other soft tissues, they never leave! The fluoride aluminum complex is just like the beta-amyloid plaques in Altzheimer patients. Fluoride is the single greatest facilitator of lead, arsenic and aluminum into our bodies. Why would you want to contribute to that bodily burden? FLUORIDE AND BONE FRACTURES A Study investigating the relationship between bone fractures and Dental Fluorosis found that the occurrence of bone fracture was higher among individuals-children and adults alike-who had Dental Fluorosis, and that the risk of fracture increased with the increasing severity of fluorosis. Fluoride 34(2) 139-149 (2001) At least 9 studies, published since 1990, have detected an increased occurrence of hip fracture among people living in fluoridated (1ppm), versus non fluoridated communities. Of the 7 studies that did not detect an association with hip fractures, 3 of the studies showed an increase in wrist fractures-a finding that may relate to fluorides ability to reduce the density of cortical bone. www.fluoridealert.org We found a significant positive correlation between fluoride levels and discharge rates for hip fracture. This relationship persisted for both women and men. Using an appropriately weighted regression model, there appears to be a positive ecologic association between fluoride levels of county water supplies and fracture discharge rates. This ecologic association is consistent with a recently published study and others currently in progress. Cooper C. et al (1991), Water Fluoridation and hip fracture. Journal of the American Medical Association 266: 513-514 An ecologic study compared fracture rates in 216 counties with natural fluoride levels greater than .7ppm with rates in 95 counties with naturally low fluoride (less than .4ppm) in the drinking water. In general, with increasing dose of fluoride in the drinking water the hip 8

fracture ratio also increased. Keller c. (1991) Fluorides in drinking water. Unpublished results. In Gordon SL, Corbin SB. (1992) Summary of Workshop on Drinking Water Fluoride Influence on Hip Fracture on Bone health. Osteoporosis International 2: 109-117 We found a small but significant increase in the risk of hip fracture in both men and women exposed to artificial fluoridation at 1ppm, suggesting that low levels of fluoride may increase the risk of hip fracture in the elderly. Danielson C, et al. Hip fractures and fluoridation in Utahs elderly population. Journal of the American Medical Association 268. Among younger women, those aged 50-64 years, higher fluoride levels increased the risk of hip fractures. Kurttio PN, et al. (1999). Exposure to natural fluoride in well water and hip fracture: a cohort analysis in Finland. American Journal of Epidemiology 150: 817-824. This study found an age-specific statistically-significant relationship between fluoridation and hip fracture in women 75-84 years old-RR=1.43 (95% Cl, 1.02-1.84). Hegman KT, et al. (2000). The effects of fluoridation on degenerative joint disease (DJD) and hip fractures. American Journal of Epidemiology S 18 About one-half of the people with hip fractures end up in nursing homes, and in the year following the fracture, 20 per cent of them die. Harold Slavkin, Director of National Institute of Dental Research (JADA 1999) WHAT IS YOUR TOTAL DAILY FLUORIDE CONSUMPTION FROM FOOD ALONE? U.S. Public Health Service documents show that even in 1991, non-fluoridated communities were already receiving more than the targeted 1 ppm from food and other beverages. Fluoridated communities were receiving an estimated 3 to 7 times the optimal goal. The last 20 years have had exponential growth in fluoride consumption, as will be shown. When you go to the grocery store, if it is in a can, bottle, or box, 95% of the time it is going to be already fluoridated: soft drinks avg. .95 ppm, juices range- 1 ppm to 6.8 ppm, cereals avg. 8.2 ppm. Maximum allowable pesticide residue levels on vegetables and fruits: 30 to 180 ppm! One third of the egg consumption is dried eggswould you believe 900 ppm! Beer avg. .7 to 1.3 ppm, and California wines, 4 to 8 ppm. We absolutely do not need another .7ppm in our water we are already over-dosed! UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOSE and DOSAGE When the fluoride concentration in water is .7ppm or .7 mg/liter, it doesnt sound like much. That is your dosage. When you drink 5 quarts/liters of water in a day, your dose from water is 3.5 mg. (5x.7). When you add the amount you and your children take in from a hot shower/bath, through your skin and inhalation, you will add another 2-3 mg. Then there is additional dermal and inhalation exposure every time you and your children take a 30 minute/one hour dip in the pool or hot soak in the hot-tub 2-3mg. Now add the fluoride you take in from air pollution (Hydrogen Fluoride is one of the top three power plant emissions) add .2-.4 mg. Now add the amount of fluoride from your food and beverage consumption of 2-4 mg.depending on how many beverages you consume. Then, you wash your clothes with fluoridated water-and wear them. Then, you wash your dishes with fluoridated water and eat your compromised food from them. Then you cook with 9

fluoridated water and unlike chlorine which evaporates when heated, this only concentrates the fluoride, because fluorides do not evaporate. Then, if you are cooking with Teflon (perfluoro) coated aluminum pots/pans, you are adding fluoride fumes to the recipe. If the Teflon pots and pans are scratched or chipped, as they are wont to be, then you are exposing the aluminum, and yourself to its toxic effects. Fluoride loves aluminum! Question: How much time do your children spend playing on Scotchguard treated furniture and carpeting? Now, let us brush our teeth with fluoride toothpaste with fluoride concentrations of 1000ppm to 1500ppm! Yummy!! Kids love it it tastes just like candy! Did you know that there is enough fluoride in a 7 ounce tube of toothpaste to kill a 20-30 lb child? Yes its true. Note: Read the warning label on your toothpaste Warning Keep out of the reach of children under six years of age. If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Use only a pea- sized amount. Check your own toothpaste box. ***Very Important Question that you ought to be asking yourself and when the logic alludes you: ask the EPA, CDC, FDA, ADA, AMA. A pea-sized amount of toothpaste contains as much fluoride as an 8 ounce glass of fluoridated water-the difference being that the fluoride in toothpaste is PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE and the fluoride in fluoridated water is GARBAGE OR COMMERCIAL GRADE-straight from the smoke-stack scrubbers of the Phosphate Plant. ***Here is the question: If it requires a PROTECTIVE Warning for a pea-sized amount of PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE fluoridated toothpaste why doesnt it require a PROTECTIVE Warning on your Water Bill and on every faucet in your home AGAINST THE RAVAGES OF GARBAGE/COMMERICAL GRADE POISONED WATER? Thank heavens that your children dont put a really big strip of toothpaste on their brush. NOW, ADD IT ALL UP! WHAT IS YOUR AND YOUR CHILDRENS TOTAL DAILY INTAKE? Average total intake in a day is your total daily dose: average is 4 to 7 mg/day which is 5 to 10 times the .7 ppm! Athletes, outdoor workers, diabetic and kidney patients can have above average consumption: 7 to 15 mg/day. Babies have the highest consumption ratio by body weight and consequently the greatest risk of over- exposure to fluoride poisoning. How much greater is your daily dose or that of your loved ones compared to .7 ppm or .7 mg/day5 times, 10 times? Whatever the number, it is too high! Now you know why there is a Dental Fluorosis Epidemic; an Altzheimers Epidemic; an Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder/Downs Syndrome Epidemic; a hip fracture epidemic. If its in the water it is everywhere! We dont need another .7ppm of fluoride in the water! We are already drowning in Fluoride. Dont you agree? FLUORIDE AND VIOLENCE AND CHILDRENS BLOOD-LEAD SERUM LEVELS Additionally, an area you may not aware of, is the relationship between water fluoridation and increased lead and aluminum uptake in children and adults. Masters and Coplan took blood samples of over 280,000 school children in Mass. and, with the help of the NY State Health Dept., 150,000 children in NY: the children living in fluoridated areas had 100% to 200% greater blood-lead serum levels. (African American children were 700% higher and Hispanics 400%.) The potential impact on learning disabilities and retardation is enormous. 10

Their studies of violent crime, like road rage, multiple murders/school shootings/police officer shootingsthe perpetrators all came from fluoridated areas and/or were on Prozac, which contains fluoride! With one third of the new drugs coming into the market especially mood-altering drugs, containing fluoridethis will only become more pronounced. They also did a study showing that removing or avoiding fluoridation could prevent a certain amount of violent crime. And, since it takes $20-50,000 to process a case in court and legal costs and $30-50,000/year to house inmates, a county could drop/save millions of dollars to their bottom line by not fluoridating. This is a special report which is now being prepared for Law Enforcement. Further, studies on the impact of fluoride and aluminum by Varner et al have been very revealing. Fluoride potentiates aluminum up to 600 times. Fluoride is the single greatest facilitator of lead and aluminum into the body and helps the lead/fluoride and aluminum/fluoride toxic compounds cross the placental and blood-brain barriers. This is a catastrophe in the making for childrens brains and learning abilities, and for the increasing rates of beta-amyloid plaques of Alzheimers patients, and hip fractures. SAFE? ETHICAL? DRUG INTERACTIONS - Pharmageddon An analysis of recently released data from the U.S. Centers of Disease Control (CDC) by the L.A. Times revealed: Prescription drugs are now killing far more people than illegal drugs. For the first time ever in the US, more people were killed by drugs than motor vehicles (year 2009) - 37,484 people died from drugs, a rate fueled by overdoses on fluoridated prescription pain and anxiety medications, versus 36,284 from traffic accidents. Drug fatalities more than doubled among teens and young adults between 2000 and 2008, and more than tripled among people aged 50-69. According to the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, prescription drugs are second to marijuana as the drug of choice for todays teens. In fact, seven of the top 10 drugs used by 12th-graders were prescription drugs.

There hasnt been ONE study done, anywhere in the world , on drug interactions with sodium fluoride or Hydrofluorosilicic Acid: 4 of the top 10 drugs associated with violent crime are fluoridated! POLLUTION NIGHTMARE Now, add a toxic waste product: Hydrofluorosilicic Acid with Fluoride, Arsenic, Lead, Mercury, Chromium, Cadmium, Berylium, Radium 226, Uranium 238 to the tap water: Straight from the smoke-stack scrubbers of the Phosphate Industry, into a tank car, and delivered to your Water District. Remember, there isnt ONE STUDY done, anywhere in the world, on drug interactions with Hydrofluorosilicic Acid? Environmental Poisoning! WASTE, INEFFICIENCY AND STUPIDITY According to the EPA, the average person uses 100 gallons of water per day. For a County with 1,000,000 of population, that comes to 100,000,000 gallons /day and 3,650,000,000 gallons per year. Since it is estimated that the average person uses only .5% of their water for drinking/brushing (.5 gallons/day), than 99.5 gallons per day X 365 days per year of fluoridated water never reaches its target= 36,317.5 gallons NEVER REACHES THE LIPS X 1,000,000 people=3,631,750,000 gallons of fluoridated water per year is wasted! BUT, all of the 3.65 billion gallons of toxic hydrofluorosilicic treated water goes back into our eco system to mix with all of the combinations of fluoridated drugs and the 80,000 potential combinations of chemicals! And, that is just the volume of water for household usage! What about commercial and industrial usage? How much is getting into our Aquifers? ****Think about it! The Phosphate Industry generates a toxic by-product from its fertilizer manufacturing business, Hydrofluorosilicic Acid. It is extremely difficult and expensive to store or dispose of in required EPA approved storage facilities. It would cost the Phosphate Industry $Billions per year plus constantly having the specter of a major disaster hanging over their heads. The solution: rather than having them deal with the storage/disposal costs of $Billions/year and face a Liability Armageddon, we pay them $Billions a year for the privilege of dripping this horrific poison into the veins and arteries of our children and ourselves and reducing/compromising our health and our lives. The SOLUTION TO POLLUTION IS DILUTION! How stupid! We pay through the Nose and we get the Hose. How convenient! Money talks, Endorsements listen, and Integrity balks and walks! This isnt just stupid-it borders on insanity! This is Governmental Malfeasance! Contrary to popular belief, Hydrofluorosilicic Acid does not completely disassociate in water. How long before the addition of all these combinations of drugs and toxic garbage into our aquifers reaches its Tipping Point and comes back to bite us or our grandchildren? 12

You and your children drink it and bathe and shower with it? WHY? Do you know why your Water District doesnt have a Double-Blind, Peer-Reviewed toxicological study showing that this toxic soup is totally safe and effective? Because it doesnt exist! ASK! CANCER According to the National Toxicology Program, the preponderance of evidence from laboratory in vitro studies indicates that fluoride is a mutagen (a compound that can cause genetic damage). It is generally accepted that if a substance can induce genetic damage there is a heightened risk that it could cause cancer as well. The New England Journal of Medicine reported that the vast majority of cancers (50+%) are caused by environmental and behavioral factors such as chemical pollutants. (review the previous page) Fluoride is a carcinogen by any standard we use. E.P.A. should act immediately to protect the public, not just on the cancer data, but on the evidence of bone fractures, arthritis, mutagenicity and other effects. Dr. William Marcus, Senior Toxicologist at EPA, retired. The Center for Childrens Health and the Environment, a part of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, demonstrates the relationship between exposure to toxic chemicals and childhood illness: of the thousands of synthetic chemicals on the market, relatively few have been tested in combination with other chemicals. For our health, for our childrens health, such testing should be in place for all chemicals. More kids are getting brain cancer. WHY? Of particular concern are a series of studies indicating that fluoride can cause osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in both fluoride-treated male rats, and boys under the age of 20 living in fluoridated areas. Osteosarcoma is a rare, but deadly, form of cancer that strikes primarily during the teenage (bone growth) years, with a median survival of approximately three years. The mortality rate in the first 5 years is 50%. Nearly all survivors have limbs, usually legs, amputated. A study from the Harvard School of Dental Health found that young boys exposed to fluoridated tap water from ages 5-10 suffered an increased risk of osteosarcoma-bone cancer-between the ages of 10 and 19. This study is the first to link the toxic effects of fluoride to a childs development and the beginnings of bone cancer. (No such link, however, was found among young girls.) A 300% to 700% increase in osteosarcoma rates in fluoridated counties versus nonfluoridated counties. An Epidemiological Report on Drinking Water and Fluoridation, New Jersey Department of Health, 1992. To get into a discussion on the cancer impacts and cell signaling, G-protein impacts would take another 20 pages. However, it is important to note that Drs. Burk and Yiamouylannis research in 1975, showed that in the 10 largest fluoridated cities as opposed to the 10 largest non-fluoridated cities in the USA, that the artificial fluoridation appears to cause or induce about 20-30 excess cancer deaths for every 100,000 persons exposed per year after about 15-20 years. Today, this would mean 60-90,000 additional cancer deaths/ year! 13

This does not include those who got cancer and survived. This research and the numbers were upheld in all three trials mentioned (see Is It Legal on page 15) as well as on Appeal. *****Remember, if you want to denature a protein in the lab, you add fluoride. All enzymes are proteins. There are already 80 key enzymes that have been identified that have a negative impact with fluoride. Without enzymeswe are not! SAFE? ETHICAL? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The medical travesty from fluoridation is a mighty long list. To begin the journey of enlightenment, I suggest you start at www.fluoridealert.org , www.slweborg , www.orgsites.com/ny/nyscof and www.Keepers-of-the-Well.org, There is no court that will show mercy when it discovers that a municipal water district did not avail themselves of all available information, particularly when it has been put on notice. Ignorance is not bliss, and you have been informed. Since the National Research Council Report in March, 2006, there have been 373 fluoride studies published thru April 15, 2011, covering 38 areas from apoptosis (cell death) and fetal/infant brain damage, to kidney, liver, reproductive and thyroid and 33 other areas. The volumes of research on the increasing rates of Autism and Downs syndrome and Alzheimers disease and hip fractures in the elderly in fluoridated areas, alone, would fill a very large semi. For the CDC, EPA, and ADA to say that there are no known negative affects from water fluoridation is a prevarication (that is a fancy name for a lie)! One reason they dont know is because they have never done any of their own studies! Peer-Reviewed and Double-Blind Studies: They Do Not Exist! You should be asking yourselves right now, How can this medical travesty exist? Where is all the testing from the FDA, the CDC, the ADA, the EPA, The National Sanitation Foundation International and for their safety designation, NSF Standard 60? THEY DO NOT EXIST! Let me repeat thatTHEY DO NOT EXIST! All fluoride laboratory experiments and studies are done using pharmaceutical grade sodium fluoride and double distilled water. It would be natural to assume and most people, including dentists, do, think that the fluoride used in water fluoridation is pharmaceutical grade like in toothpaste, rinses and varnishes, antibiotics, anesthetics. Alas, such is not the case. Then certainly it must be at least food grade. No, this is commercial grade. This Hydrofluorosilicic Acid is pure toxic waste, straight from the phosphate fertilizer smokestack scrubbers, into the tank-car, and straight on to your water plant. This garbage isnt even pure enough to be used for rat and roach poison. If they dumped this straight into the streams and rivers emptying into Tampa Bay, like has happened in the past, it would be an ecological disaster and they would be sued into bankruptcy. Thankfully, the Tooth Fairy blesses this toxic waste before it reaches the water district so you and your children can drink it. If only that were true. 14

Letters from the FDA, The CDC, the EPA, and the NSF all admit that they DID NOT TEST & have no testing, and no toxicological studies showing the total safety and effectiveness of sodium fluoride or Hydrofluorosilicic Acid: with all of its toxic impurities (arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, beryllium, radium 226 & 228, and uranium 238, etc.) for human ingestion! NONE! (And you let your kids and grandbabies drink it?) Do you have copies of those letters in your file? Why not! Evidently, the dentists didnt offer them to you? The FDA states, Fluoride is a regulated drug when used for the treatment or prevention of disease, and that no fluoride substance intended to be ingested for the purpose of reducing tooth decay has ever been approved for safety and effectiveness. Really? Really! Nor has the FDA ever approved fluoride of any kind for human or animal ingestion never, ever, nada. FLUORIDE in any form IS AN UNAPPROVED DRUG! The American Medical Association, in a letter from Dr. Flanagan, Assistant Director of Environmental Health, stated: The American Medical Association is NOT prepared to state that no harm will be done to any person by water fluoridation. The AMA has not carried out any research work, either long-term or short-term, regarding the possibility of any side effects. You havent been offered a copy of that letter either, have you? IS IT LEGAL? NO! On June 29, 2000, at the U.S. Senate Congressional Hearing on Arsenic, Radon, and Fluoride, held by the subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife, and Water, J. William Hirzy, Ph.D. testified on behalf of the union that consists of and represents all of the toxicologists, biologists, chemists, physicians, dentists, statisticians, epidemiologists, attorneys, engineers, scientists, and other professionals at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., calling for a moratorium on all fluoridation. In his testimony to Congress, Dr. Hirzy cited scientific evidence the union of scientists have in their possession, and court findings in three different states (Illinois, Texas, and Pennsylvania) whose conclusions have never been overturned on the merits (upheld on appeal), that found with reasonable certainty (i.e. beyond speculation and guess) and by preponderance of the evidence, including the testimony of experts learned in the field, that fluoride in public water supplies causes or contributes to cancer, genetic damage, intolerant reactions, chronic toxicity, dental fluorosis, bone pathology and neurological injury to humans, and that fluoride in public water supplies aggravates malnutrition, iodine deficiencies, and other existing illnesses. (Bet you havent been offered that either) 1. The Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974-as amended in 1995-Par. (6) Sec. 1412 (b). No national primary drinking water regulation may require the addition of any substance for preventive health care purposes unrelated to contamination of drinking water. 2. The water district does not have a License to Practice Medicine and as such cannot legally prescribe or dispense ANY DRUG. 3. When the Water District, which does not have a License to Practice Medicine, adds Hydrofluorosilicic Acid, an FDA unapproved drug, to the water, which contains fluoride, lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, chromium, beryllium, radium 226 & 228, and uranium 238, for the purpose of preventing disease, 15

 it is mass medicating an entire populace, without the individuals Informed Consent, and without knowledge or regard to the individuals age, existing health conditions, current medications/dosages or dose, potential drug interactions, allergies or sensitivities, water consumption requirements or diet. Where is the Medical Integrity? What about Bioethics? The water district is in violation of a Federal Law, The Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974 as amended; practicing medicine without a license; and, may be sued for Medical Malpractice. Did you know: It is an accepted medical fact that 1% of the U.S. population is either allergic to fluoride or has a high sensitivity to fluoride: that is 3,100,000 people that have just been thrown under the bus. Their reactions can be devastating, debilitating, and deadly!
Anaphylactic Shock is no small thing. A tiny piece of peanut or fluoride can lead to disaster. And, just like the extreme sensitivity and balance (margin of error or safety) required for Coumadin usage, there is no adequate margin of safety in amount of Fluoride between an acute fluoride reaction or not. Read: Fluoridation, The Great Dilemma by Drs. Waldbott, Burgsthaler, and McKinney as noted on page 1 .

LEGAL LIABLILITY CONSIDERATIONS Practicing medicine without a license, dispensing a toxic substance for ingestion (poison) which is an unapproved drug, without Informed Consent, which no licensed physician or dentist could prescribe (without losing their License) at doses that are illegal and with no knowledge of a persons medical history or need, is a recipe for legal liability disaster. There are three reasons why the Water District signs a hold-harmless agreement with its Hydrofluorosilicic Acid supplier and doesnt get a copy of the list of ingredients with impurities: One, the supplier doesnt want you to know and have in writing what is in there. Second, because they dont know. And, thirdly, because they dont want you to know that they dont know! The reason is because every batch of phosphate ore is different and therefore every batch of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid is different. They do not test every batch. Proof of the pudding: when you ask for the toxicological studies showing complete safety and effectiveness and you do not get them; when you ask for contracts and letters of indemnification for health related liability suits, not just assurances or endorsements; and, you do not get them, you will find that all of the endorsements from the ADA, AMA, EPA, the CDC, and the state and county dental societies and health departments, are hollow and not worth the paper they are written on: they wont cash! When the lawsuits start, as they have in other states, and they cant/wont back you up, then what or whom are you going to hang your hat on /subrogate to? A lawsuit was filed this summer/2011 in Federal District Court of Southern California against the water supplier which supplies 18 million people from LA to San Diego for fraud, misrepresentation, and medical malpractice for supplying Hydrofluorosilicic Acid as safe and effective when there are no existing toxicological studies showing it to be safe and effective, and because the FDA has never tested or approved Hydrofluorosilicic Acid for human ingestion. Another lawsuit has been filed in 2011, in the US District Court, State of Maryland, by the parents of a 13 year old girl with Dental Fluorosis. The lawsuit is against Nestle USA, manufacturer of Deer Park and Poland Spring bottled waters with added fluoride. Gerber Products Company, which manufactures baby food and infant formula products containing fluoride is also part of the suit. Based on information cited as being from the CDC, the claim is that when fluoride is ingested by people under the age of eight, there is a significant risk of harm. Under these circumstances why wouldnt your Water Districts insurance carrier reject any liability claim stemming from the Water Districts gross negligence/ malpractice? You do not have the coverage, the insurance carrier has nobody to subrogate to, and the three previously mentioned court cases have already upheld the merits of the science against fluoridation ON APPEAL! IS IT EFFECTIVE? NO! What is the effectiveness of water fluoridation to prevent/reduce cavities? Yes, in spite of everything that has been written above, The ADA, the EPA and the CDC, still sing the praises of water fluoridation, saying that a reduction in cavities of up to 75% have resulted since the start of fluoridation. While that is true, it is also true that the same results have been achieved across the board in both fluoridated and non-fluoridated communities throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the 98% of Europe which is NON-fluoridated, and in Japan. See the 2004 World Health Organization Study at www.fluoridealert.org. Those non fluoridated countries Decayed-Missing-Filled (DMF) indexes were as good if not better than ours. The earliest, most comprehensive U.S. review was carried out by the U.S. National Institute of Dental Research on 39,207 school children, aged 5-17 in 84 areas throughout the United States in 1986-1987: 27 areas had been fluoridated for 17 years or more, 30 had never been fluoridated, and 27 had been only partially fluoridated. 17

Results: no statistically significant differences were found in the decay rates of permanent teeth in any of the three types of areas. As earlier studies in the 1930s have already shown, 5-10 year olds in fluoridated areas have fewer cavities, due to the impact of fluoride on the endocrine system, causing 1-3 year delays in the eruption of the permanent teeth; this means there are fewer permanent teeth to count and less exposure time for the cavities to form. However, they also had fewer teeth when they were age 35! Here comes the shocker: Water fluoridation doesnt work! It doesnt prevent or reduce cavities and it doesnt save on medical or dental bills. If fact, it is just the opposite. FLUORIDATION DOES NOT REDUCE CAVITIES What the fluoride promoters will not reveal to their targeted legislators and City Council Members, or even their unsuspecting well-intentioned supporters. The July 2009 Journal of the American Dental Association published the results of a study by dentist J.V. Kumar of the NY State Health Department. Attempting to prove that fluorosed teeth have fewer cavities, Kumar uses 1986-1987 National Institute of Dental Research (NIDR) data cited before. However, upon analysis, the data shows that 7-17 year-olds have similar cavity rates in their permanent teeth whether their water supply is fluoridated or not. Dr. John A. Yiamouyiannis, in 1990, using the same study, got the same results and showed that the nine fluoridated cities with the highest decay rates had 10% more decay that the nine equivalent non-fluoridated cities. Furthermore, a 5.4% increase in students with decay was observed when 1 ppm was added to the water supply. The worlds largest study on dental caries, which looked at 400,000 students, revealed that decay increased 27% with a 1 ppm fluoride increase in drinking water. Professor Teotia and his team in India have examined the teeth of some 400,000 students over 30 years. Tooth decay, they decided, results from a deficiency of calcium and an excess of fluoride. In Japan, fluoridation caused decay increases of 7% in 22,100 students and was discontinued thereafter. A study in Tucson, AZ, covering 26,00 students found: When we plotted the incidence of tooth decay versus fluoride content in a childs neighborhood drinking water, a positive correlation was revealed. In other words, the more fluoride a child drank, the more cavities appeared in the teeth. ANY ANTI-CARIES BENEFIT FROM FLUORIDE IS TOPICAL, NOT SYSTEMIC. Ingestion of Fluoridated water has absolutely no positive impact. Why do Fluoride Promoters who love to quote the CDC never use these quotes? Laboratory and epidemiological research suggests that fluoride prevents dental caries predominately after eruption of the tooth and its actions are primarily topical for both adults and children. Fluorides predominant effect is post-eruptive and topical. CDC 1999, MMWR 48:933-940

The July 2000 peer-reviewed cover story of the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) clarified for every dentist in America that injection of fluoride does not provide any significant reduction in the incidence of tooth decaythat any beneficial dental effect is as a result of topical application directly to the tooth. The prevalence of dental caries in a population is not inversely related to the concentration of fluoride in enamel, and a higher concentration of enamel fluoride is not necessarily more efficacious in preventing dental caries CDC, August 17, 2001 MMWR Report The American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatrics have revised their recommendations for controlled-dose fluoride which restricts a doctor from prescribing fluoride to a child of 6 months to 3 years of age to the amount found in one cup of fluoridated waternone to an infantmeaning that, as a public policy, fluoridation mass medicates infants and children at a higher expected dosage than a doctor in a non-fluoridated community can prescribe---and it does so without any control as to dose! There are three main factors which determine the level of caries prevention and the presence of fluoride isnt one of them: 1. Water compositionwhat is called hard water containing calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous which helps to negate the impact of ingested fluorine on the bones, teeth and the rest of the body system. 2. Dieta proper diet of dairy products, fruits and vegetables containing sufficient levels of protein, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous, to absorb the impact of ingested fluorides and provide for strong teeth and bones, and sufficient amounts of Vitamin A, C D, and D3. 3. Dental Hygiene--proper regimen of brushing, flossing, rinsing and dental check-ups. THE IMPACT OF FLUORIDATION TODAY The Big Lie, It helps the poor! Today, the greatest impact is being felt in the lower-income neighborhoods of urban areas that have been fluoridated for 20-50 years, and it is negative! Are you listening CDC, EPA, and ADA? The downward trend in caries has reversed and is now going back up! As shown previously, the court findings in three different states whose conclusions have never been overturned on the merits (upheld on appeal) as well as all the additional documentation presented here, that fluoride in public water supplies causes of contributes to cancer, genetic damage, intolerant reactions, chronic toxicity, dental fluorosis, bone pathology, and neurological injury to humans and aggravates malnutrition, iodine deficiencies and other illnesses. All of this exacerbates the impact on children in low income neighborhoods with poor diets. The incidence of caries is at epidemic levels. Five year olds are in the emergency rooms for life-saving procedures from tooth and gum infections becoming systemic. The reason is not because there isnt any fluoridation (they have had it for decades) and they are primarily tap-water drinkers: it is because of poor diet (insufficient protein, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, vitamins A, C, D & D3)( malnourishment), and too much sugarbaby bottle caries, poor dental hygiene due to lack of parental education and guidance, and the fact that 90+% of dentists avoid children who are Medicaid patients 19

because of the low rates of reimbursement (Florida has some of the lowest), which means that the low-income children are not getting the necessary dental check-ups. What the children need is better diet, better dental hygiene and more dental check-ups. What the children do not need is the misfeasance of Governments sanctimonius rally cry of more fluoride by unethically pushing a non-working program of water fluoridation to cover up their own failures in solving the above issues! The presence of fluoridation actually exacerbates the problem by weakening the teeth thru dental fluorosis and increasing periodontal gum disease and gingivitis, because of its impact on cell-signaling enzymes and G-proteins. This has become a social justice issue! Think Fluoridegate! Studies that have compared the four 1945 paired city experiments (and it was Human Experimentation) because there was NO real knowledge to go on) provide interesting facts, even though the paired city experiments wouldnt pass muster today as qualified doubleblind peer-reviewed studies: The heart attack deaths were noticeably higher in the fluoridated cities of Grand Rapids, MI and Newburgh, NY (fluoride is a calcium chelator and precipitator). In fluoridated Newburgh, the onset of menstruation for girls was five months earlier than the non-fluoridated control city of Kingston (which shows a significant endocrine disruption). Overall, the dental fluorosis and cavities were higher after ten years in Newburgh. The other fluoridated cities results were no better than the non-fluoridated cities. The Greatest Fraud: Fluoridation by Phillip R.N. Sutton, DDS, 1994. NOTE: Now you know why Kingston, N.Y. is still unfluoridated. Your decision to come to grips with this is commendable. I know of many cities and water districts that went through the rigorous due diligence process and came to the same educated conclusions: not to fluoridate. It is far superior to be part of the solution as opposed to being part of the problem. COST VERSUS EFFECTIVENESS In the June 22, 2011 edition of the St Pete Times, ADA spokesman Dr. Howard Pollick said: The American Dental Association has supported water fluoridation since 1950, five years after an experimental trial launched in four pairs of U.S. communities showed the substance reduced tooth decay by 60%. He forgot to mention that non fluoridated communities had the same results. There are no results to be had in the first 5 years, in the first place. Secondly, the matter of DMF indices in the U.S. in fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas and in all the nonfluoridated countries has already been covered. Dr. Pollicks statement above is misleading by omission, and his statement which follows, is specious. Pollick said, Fluoride is a cost-effective way to ensure protection against decay, regardless of age, socioeconomic status or access to dental care. Citizens save $38 in dental treatment for every $1 invested in water fluoridation, according to the ADA. We have already covered this from the ADA and CDC announcements (backed by research the world over) that any benefit from fluoride is topical and post eruptive, and not from systemic impact from ingestion. Diet, water composition, dental hygiene and access to dental care determine caries control. The only thing that water fluoridation provides children of all socioeconomic levels is DENTAL FLUOROSIS and compromised health! 20

The statement that the ADA says that citizens will save $38 in dental treatment for every $1 invested in water fluoridation would be laughable if it were not so sad! First of all, the $38 figure first appeared in an article from the CDC, and there is no study that was ever done by the CDC or the ADA from which this figure came into existence. NONE! This figure was pulled out of a hat like a magicians rabbit, and has no basis in reality. Im waiting for a reply from the EPA or the CDC. Do you understand that your grand-children, bless them, will never get that communication? When you now understand that fluoride ingestion doesnt work to prevent or reduce cavities, there cannot be any $$ saved. When you understand that the tsunami of dental fluorosis is upon us and that the cost of veneers and replacements over a lifetime will run $50,000 to $100,000, you realize how specious is the $38 figure. Are you aware that Dental Insurance will not cover these expenses? Who can afford it? Not the economically disadvantaged! When there is zero or negative effectiveness, any cost is too high. The only people that make money in fluoridation are the suppliers, the endorsers, and the manufacturers who sell it for a profit and save BILLIONS for not having to store an absolute nightmare of a toxic waste that is a ticking time-bomb. THE TRUE COST OF WATER FLUORIDATION The true cost of water fluoridation is almost unfathomable because of the human element. The cost of fluoridation equipment, supplies and labor, while not inexpensive in absolute dollars, is a drop in the bucket when compared to the human cost. How do you put a price on a childs (childrens) lowered IQ , ADD, ADHD, Downs Syndrome-remember the 26 studies; or just one case of a young boys osteosarcoma; or a grandparents case of Altzheimers or hip fracture; or the 41% of the 12-15 year old children with Dental Fluorosis; or the additional 50,000 to 90,000 cancer deaths; or the 3,100,000 people who are potentially susceptible to anaphylactic shock episodes; etc.etc. Multiply this throughout 310,000,000 people in the country!!! Who in their right-mind can justify these abhorrent results? There isnt a National Health Care Plan that will ever be devised that will handle the onslaught of fluoride poisonings staggering impact on health care costs. Medicare and Medicaid are already under siege. A major component for containment is to eliminate the deleterious impact of water fluoridation. This will save many hundreds of $Billions/yr. What is the cost to National Security? What is the long-term impact of the dumbingdown of America? How many generations of losing 5-10 IQ points will it take? No nation can afford that kind of brain-drain. The drain on resources to pay for excess health care costs could be invested and deployed into better education, medical research or infrastructure or national defense. What is the cost to social cohesiveness which is a national assetor not. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. How can America continue to be The Land of the Free when water fluoridation and its politics diminishes its own citizens thru compromised health, increased costs of living, and social divisiveness. FLUORIDEGATE An Issue of Civil Rights and Social and Environmental Justice: There is a new term, Fluoridegate which is gaining a substantial head of steam. As a Water District or fluoride promoter/supplier, manufacturer, or medical arts trade association, you can no longer keep your head in the sand on this issue. You do so at your own risk. Andrew Young, former mayor of Atlanta and Ambassador to the United Nations has joined with Dr. Gerald L. Durley, pastor of the largest black church in Atlanta-Providence Baptist Church; the Rev. William Owens, President of the Coalition of African-American Pastors, an association of 5000 African American Pastors; the daughter and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.; Laura Seydel, well known Atlanta activist and daughter of Ted Turner; and law firms throughout the country to thinking in terms of Fluoridegate, the Quest for Environmental Justice. Ambassador Andrew Young, in a personal letter said:
I am most deeply concerned for poor families who have babies: if they cannot afford unfluoridated water for their babies milk formula, do their babies not count? Of course they do. This is an issue of fairness, civil rights, and compassion. We must find better ways to prevent cavities, such as helping those most at risk for cavities obtain access to the services of a dentistMy father was a dentist. I formerly was a strong believer in the benefits of water fluoridation for preventing cavities. But many things that we began to do 50 or more years ago we now no longer do, because we have learned further information that changes our practices and policies. So it is with fluoridation.

The illiterates of the 21st century will not be those who cant read or write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. Alvin Toffler Rev. William Owens, President of the Coalition of African American Pastors, has called for federal and state Fluoridegate investigations regarding new revelations about risks from drinking fluoridated water:
Why wasnt the black community told that blacks are disproportionately impacted by harm from fluorides and fluoridated water? Nobody told me until I learned about this a year ago. African Americans have more kidney disease and more diabetes, but nobody elected to tell us that kidney patients and diabetics are more susceptible to harm from ingested fluorides.

In a letter to Tennessee water districts asking fluoridation be stopped, Dr. Joey Hensley, a Tennessee State House Representative and medical doctor, wrote information is now coming out
showing that the health risks associated with drinking fluoridated water significantly outweigh fluorides limited cavity fighting action. There is a real scandal here. Citizens havent been told about harm from fluoride, and this needs to be investigated by the authorities and the media.

Bernice King, Martin Luther King Jr.s daughter, writes on her Facebook page, Join me by
calling for a halt to water fluoridation.

Alveda King, nationally known minister and niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., posted in her blog today, The Center for Disease Control has clearly been trying to preserve
fluoridation at all costs, but the facts about fluoride harm are coming out anyway.

Dr. Gerald L. Durley, Pastor of the Providence Baptist Church wrote: As a citizen, a minister,
and a community leader, I am writing to state my opposition to the practice of water fluoridation, and to ask that the current Georgia law mandating water fluoridation throughout our state be repealed. We need to focus on helping people get access to dentists. Lack of fluoride does not cause cavities. Too many sugars on the teeth, lack of access to dental care, and lack of dental health educationthese cause cavities. We also need to know why the full story about harm from fluorides is only just now coming out. I support the holding of Fluoridegate hearings at the state and national level so we can learn why we havent been openly told that fluorides build up in the body over time, why our government agencies havent told the black community openly

that fluorides disproportionately harm black Americans, and why we been told that decades of extensive research show fluoridation to be safe, when the National Research Council in 2006 listed volumes of basic research that has never been done. This is a serious issue for all Americans, of every race and in every location.

San Antonio, Texas, Civil Rights Activist and Leader, Henry Rodriguez, authored a Resolution that was passed by the Texas LULAC Officials in February, 2011 and was passed by the National LULAC Convention in July, 2011. LULAC, The League of United Latin American Citizens was founded in 1929, and is the oldest, largest and most respected Hispanic civil rights organization in America. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that LULAC commends efforts by organizations that oppose
forced mass medication of the public drinking supplies using fluorides that are industrial grade, toxic waste byproducts which contain contaminants (arsenic, lead, mercury) which further endanger life; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that LULAC supports efforts by all citizens working to stop forced medication through the public water system because it violates civil rights: and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that opposes the public policy of fluoridation because it fails to meet
legislative intent; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that LULAC demands to know why government agencies entrusted

Black and Hispanic children have an even higher rate of dental fluorosis20%-40% higher and 178% to 252% greater Moderate to Severe Fluorosis. Blacks and Hispanics have a greater tendency for kidney disease and diabetes. The CDC knew about this and withheld the information.
A series of disclosures are surfacing about the actions of water fluoridation promoters that point to a likely tsunami of Fluoridegate investigations, hearings and explosive courtroom entanglements. I think when we look back well ask why Fluoridegate didnt surface earlier. There are serious concerns about possible conflicts of interest and heavy editing of information being fed to the public about fluoride risks and impacts.

Washington D.C. toxic tort attorney Chris Nidel. Kentucky attorney Robert Reeves says, The story from the Centers for Disease Control that water
fluoridation is safe for all has now been shown to be categorically untrue. Black Americans and other minorities, kidney patients, babies, diabetics and seniors are all disproportionately harmed by fluoridation. Citizens are ingesting fluorides from other sources also. The story from fluoride promoters keeps changing. This is why were seeing calls for Fluoridegate hearings. Were witnessing the unraveling of the Fluoride scandal and a perfect storm of liability forming here.

While there are no guarantees in life, it is not only possible but probable that this is going to upset very many people in business, government, water districts and professional associations. Tort liability law firms have said that the individual and class action lawsuits stemming from water fluoridation could be bigger than tobacco, asbestos, and leaded gas all rolled into one! is distressing about all this is the way that state and federal bureaucrats are acting as lobbyists for this practice. For inexplicable reasons they are ignoring the 24 studies that have shown an association with a lowering of IQ at levels as low as 1.9ppm. That level allows no adequate margin of safety sufficient to protect all of Americans children drinking fluoridated water. I believe that the public has the right to expect that officials in agencies like the CDC should be providing objective information to decision makers and not

outrageously one-sided propaganda. This kind of unscientific behavior should be investigated and the best place to do that is in Atlanta because this is where the CDC has its headquarters.

Americans are surprised to learn that the CDCs Oral Health Division is in charge of making assessments for CDC about outside-the-mouth fluoride safety and research. The apparent conflict of interest is drawing fire from several angles. This is clearly the fox guarding the hen house. A number of groups, law firms, and journalists now want the names and job descriptions of persons inside CDC, both now and previously, that have been responsible for CDCs promotion of water fluoridation. (Editors note: And, which high- paying positions in industry that they elevated themselves too.) Law firms are investigating legal strategies for personal injury, failure to warn, negligent misrepresentation, consumer fraud, environmental justice harm, and medical malpractice. Actions against private sector groups will bring public sector fluoride proponents to the witness stand, for the first time, exposing the relationships and communications between government fluoridation promoters and private sector groups. This will expose the money trail and tell Americans about Kidney Risks, Thyroid Issues, and Dental Fluorosis. *** The National Kidney Foundation quietly withdrew its endorsement of fluoridation in 2008 and did not put up a visible link to its new statement on its website or issue a press release to alert its members and patients. Additional research on the risks and extent of fluoride exposure for the potentially susceptible population of (Chronic kidney disease) patients with impaired kidney function is recommended. The NKF is a recipient of grant funding from the CDC. The world is not flat, and fluoridation is not safe.

CBS-TV in Atlanta, recently reported news about permanent fluoride staining of teeth called Dental
Fluorosis and discussed concerns about fluoride impacts on internal organs. The National Research Council has designated kidney patients, diabetics, infants, seniors and those who drink above average quantities of water as susceptible subpopulations particularly vulnerable to harm from ingested fluorides.

Consumer activist, Ralph Nader says, There should be no mandatory fluoridation without the approval
of people in a public referendum preceded by full and open public debate with disclosures. There is an old Roman law adage that says, What touches all should be decided by all.

HOW QUICKLY INDUSTRY HAS RESPONDED The Gerber baby products company has brought out to market unfluoridated water so parents of babies can avoid using fluoridated water for mixing milk formula. Colgate Palmolive has bought Toms of Maine so they have an unfluoridated toothpaste for infants and toddlers. The label on the brightly colored, child friendly packaging boldly states, Fluoride-free. Safe if swallowed. Oragel toothpaste is similarly now available as a toddler training toothpaste without fluoride. Information at the product website says it is Fluoride-free so its safe if swallowed when used as directed. GlaxoSmithKlines Aquafresh brand training toothpaste for babies and children under two years old, depicted in recent television commercials, is labeled Fluoride-free toothpaste. Safe to swallow.

CONCLUSION:

FLUORIDATION IS NOT SAFE, NOT LEGAL, NOT EFFECTIVE

To conclude, fluoridation is a liability rather than a blessing for both the citizen and the water district. Be heroes. Understand the changing paradigm and become part of the solution and not part of the problem See past the propaganda of those who turn a blind eye to the overwhelming evidence that fluoridation is not safe or effective, or legal, and who make a pretty penny supplying the toxic waste dumped in our water. **** The right to safe water, the right to choose not to have any drug, much less a non-FDA approved drug in our water, is a civil rights issue as well as a basic issue of Informed Consent and freedom of choice. Fluoridation is unethical - it violates the Nuremberg Code for human experimentation. Fluoridegate will not go away! Whats Next, Lithium, Prozac, Birth Control? The negative consequences of fluoridation medically, legally, socioeconomically and environmentally, far outweigh any possible positive result, and the positive outcomes promoted by vested interests simply do not exist, never have, and have been disproven. THE BOTTOM LINE: WATER FLUORIDATION DOES NOT WORK! Dr. Arvid Carlsson, Nobel Prize for Medicine (2000), Water fluoridation goes against leading
principles of pharmacotherapy. I am quite convinced that water fluoridation, in a not-too-distant future will be consigned to medical history.
