JAFFREY-RINDGE MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS January 23, 2013

Shakespeare Greetings thespians and actors of Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School. Sign-Ups for this years Shakespeare club have begun. The sign-up list has been posted on Mrs. Bushs door (Room M101). Meetings will begin on Monday, January 28, from 2:15-3:15 PM. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bush. Ice Storm Run 2013 Attention all runners and walkers. On February 9th the Conant Indoor Track team will be hosting the Ice Storm Run 2013 at 10 a.m. All interested students or staff, please pick up a registration form at the office. The cost is $18 for adults, $16 for students, and $14 for anyone under the age of 8. Race t-shirts will be included in the registration fee, but pre-registering is recommended, because shirts are limited after Friday, January 11. JRMS Spelling Bee The school-wide Spelling Bee is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29th at 7:40 a.m. Lost & Found Please go through the items in the lost & found area in the cafeteria. All unclaimed items will be removed the first of every month and donated to the Salvation Army. Student Council There will be a Student Council meeting from 2:15 3:15 on Thursday, January 24, in the Computer Lab. Solar Car Club The JRMS Solar Car Club will meet this Thursday from 2:15 3:30 in Room M201. This introductory meeting is important as we will be establishing solar car groups. All interested 6th, 7th, & 8th graders are welcome. Extended Day The Extended Day Program will be starting its new semester of clubs beginning Monday, February 4th. This quarters clubs include, chess club, wacky scientist club, cooking club, explorers club, Zumba, and much, much more. If you are interested in any of these clubs, or would like to suggest new clubs, please sign up in the cafeteria or see Ms. Launder. Registration
