com Date: 29/01/13 Morris congratulates The Visit Nenagh team for bringing a stage finish of the An Post Ras to Nenagh I would like to congratulate the Visit Nenagh Team for succeeding in bringing a stage finish of the An Post Ras to the town meaning an overnight stay in the town for the teams, organisors and supporters of the famous cycling race.This will bring much needed footfall for the businesses in the town. This comes the day after the Nenagh Abbey Court Hotel winning a prestigious award for the quality of the service and it proves that I have been right in my efforts to promote Nenagh as a primary location for sports Tourism. It is noticeable that the town now has the self belief to go out and win such events against strong opposition. This comes after last years Visit Nenagh Cycling classic opened the eyes of the cycling authorities to the ability of Nenagh to be able to host such events.
