about how the potato famine was buried for a while. no one wrote about it and really seemed to think much about it until James Donnelly wrote about it again. It also talkes about the rasism happening towards the Irish at the time. It talks about how the Britih didnt want to do much to help beacuse they thought the irish might be useing the famine s a reason for money and support. The british thought that the irish might not want to rebuild their society. The journal mentions the bad relationships between the british and the irish and the irish workers and the landlords. This journal was helpful to me beacuse I found out that many people just wanted to tbury the past and fret about it. I also learned that the british were never really the good guys. they always seemed to be the ones hurting the problem more. they didnt hep and just stood and watched. and when they did help it only made the calamity worse. h journal tld me about how people suffeed and the popultion drop. it was veyr useful and gave me some good information.
