Project Aims
Get to know international students in CDSS

Integrate international students into the CDSS

community by INVOLVING and ENGAGING them in organising events for the school Celebrate the heritage of international students and raise awareness about multi-culturalism in CDSS

Project Outline
Student Council to organise IFD commemoration: 1

hour of activities for the whole school on 3 April during CCE lesson time (1135-1235) Preparation:

Event to network with international students Form buddy teams with international students to create booths, concert items, etc. Meet up with international students to:
Socialise! Organise events/booths

Assessment: Post-IFD survey to be conducted

How is this service learning?

Student voice Design, propose and implement programme for 1 hr commemoration Reflection and assessment Student leaders to reflect on process CDSS students to provide feedback on project/commemoration

Why does our school need this?

Peer-to-peer engagement IFD in CDSS: mainly teacher-led event Student leadership: taking initiative for students to lead the engagement process Student leaders to apply facilitation skills acquired during Orientation
