YARN RED HEART Super Saver (acrylic; 7oz/198g = 364yd/333m) #624 Tea Leaf (A): 1 skein #885 Delft Blue (B): 1 skein #776 Dark Orchid (C): 1 skein #311 White (D): 1 skein #324 Bright Yellow (E): 1 skein CROCHET HOOK One size US H-8 (5mm) or size to obtain gauge. ADDITIONAL MATERIALS 12 x 12"/30.5 x 30.5cm square pillow form Bobbins (optional) Yarn needle GAUGE In single crochet, 15 sts and 18 rows = 4"/10cm. NOTES 1. Before beginning front of pillow, wind off separate balls (or bobbins), as follows: 2 balls A, 3 balls B, 2 balls C, 1 ball each D and E. 2. Pillow is made from two pieces: Front and Back. Back is worked in a single color. Front is worked in all five colors, according to Chart. 3. To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Keep unused colors on Wrong Side of work until next needed. Fasten off old color only after a section of color is complete. DESIGNERS TIPS 1. Replace the yellow sun with white for a moonlit mountain. 2. To help keep your place on Chart, place a ruler or straight edge below current row of Chart. INSTRUCTIONS Back With A, ch 46. Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across45 sc. Rows 254: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across. Fasten off. Front With A, ch 46. Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across45 sc. Rows 254: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across, changing color as in Chart. Fasten off. FINISHING Weave in ends. Hold Front and Back with Wrong Sides together. Seam pieces together as follows. Before seaming 4th edge, insert pillow form. Working through both thicknesses, join A with sc anywhere in edge, sc evenly spaced around, working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
