IDENTIFIKASI STRUKTUR BAWAH TANAH DENGAN METODE SEISMIK REFRAKSI DI KABUPATEN X, PROVINSI BANGKA BELITUNG IDENTIFICATION OF UNDER GROUND

STRUCTURE USING REFRACTION SEISMIC METHOD IN X REGENCY, BANGKA BELITUNG PROVINCE Ardiyanto Satrio, Sorja Koesuma, Mohtar Yunianto Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science Sebelas Maret University sat_dhi@yahoo.com

Bangka Belitung province is trying to upgrade the infrastructure by conducting construction of bridge, road, waterways, and installation of electricity. The information about underground structure in X regency is needed to support the construction. In Geophysics, identification of underground structure could be obtained using refraction seismic method. The basic principal of this method is by identifying the ground structure based on propagation of seismic wave in ground and hardness of rocks. As the hardness of rock is increase, the value of seismic wave propagation is increase as well. Data acquisition along 4.9 km with interval gephone 10 m divided into 23 spreads using P.A.S.I Mod. Seismograph 16S24-P 24 channel, while the data analysis using Winsism v.14. The research yielded three rock layers with velocitiy between 400-5000 m/s. First layer is dominated by soil layer with velocity 400 m/s, second lyer is mostly found sands rock with velocity 1600 m/s, while the third layer is found granite and basalt with velocity between 3500-5000 m/s. Key word : ground structure, refraction seismic, Bangka Island.
