REVISED Finance 351 TEST 1 Spring 2013

COVERAGE: TEST 1 shall cover Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 14. FORMAT: There are a total of 28 multiple choice questions, each counting 2 points each. For each question, Circle the LETTER of the correct answer. None of these questions require calculations to answer. There are 6 problems on the test. Point values: Two are 5 points; Three are 8 points, and one is 10 points in value. You are expected to show all work {clearly} when working the problems, including a very brief outline of the calculator steps used i.e. similar to what I do on the board in class. These problems cover material contained in Chapter 14.

There will be no lecture before the test you shall have 75 minutes to complete the test. TEST TAKING MATERIAL: Pen or Pencil and calculator. NOTE SHEET: One (1) 5 X 8 Note Sheet i.e. one-half of a standard typing sheet - is Allowed. Notes allowed only on one side of the Note Sheet. Print name on 1 side of Note Sheet (no notes on this side). May write anything you wish on notes side of the Note Sheet. Notes must be in original hand writing no Xeroxing /photocopied material allowed. No Printed material allowed. After test, staple Note Sheet to back of test. Please write your name in a manner which can be easily read. CIRCLE the correct LETTER of the answer you choose for each of the multiple choice questions. To allow room to work while taking the test, please try space out the best you can. ALL CELL PHONES & MP3 TYPE DEVICES = OUT OF SIGHT. AGAIN: To receive partial credit on the problems, you must show all work, in a clear and organized manner. For Test 1, this would include listing calculator steps &/or the use of time lines.
