Success factors and challenges

-
2010/2009
Abstract
The research aims primarily to highlight on the nature of electronic banking
and the benefits provided by the cost reduction to terminate the transactions to the
widening scope of the banking market and improve the efficiency of service and
other benefits .

But they have faced a series of challenges that are obstacles to spread in the
Arab environment , in particular , and in spite of those challenges facing electronic
banking, which can be summarized as follows :
(( Pressure of competition , quality of service , the losses associated with the risk of
security and privacy , inability of some users and non-users with dealing with those
services , difficulty of managing the liquidity crisis , non-proliferation of Internet
service and download speed Arab Republic of Egypt in particular , as well as social
risk , performance risk , risk of shopping and the risk of loss of time - these risks
are the challenges facing the proliferation of those banks ))
However , there is study indicated that Saudi Arabia has more to spread the
Arab countries where such service and a clear example Rajah Bank .
However, The Researcher view that the proliferation of such banks in the
Egyptian environment faced difficulties over the difficulties faced deployment in
Saudi Arabia as an example to compare with recent excel in telecommunications
services, wireless and provide Internet service at velocities higher than what is
available in Egypt , in addition to that Saudi banks have adopted in the past
strategy in the update and development of information systems aiming at the
application of mechanisms of electronic banking. For example: opening a bank
account on the Internet in the Kingdom is easier and takes minutes but the case in
Egypt and the application on a client case, Banque Misr, since more than a month
submit papers to set up a user name and PIN until the moment of the preparation of
research did not receive any response, while as the Kingdom has advised me
Friend as soon as they are a client you can open an account electronically and used
within minutes and through which all transactions, except perhaps deposit it
through ATMs spread through the streets of the Kingdom or one of our branches.
The researcher finds that the service electronic banking a challenge for each
of the accountant based on the measurement of accounting and accounting
disclosure, and represents defiance of the External Auditor, regarding the challenge
facing the accountant, some financial transactions, if not designed procedures for
her effective control has not been able accountant to check them out until the end
of the year which represents the financial burden of verification of transactions
within and out and the nature of a problem and then to recognize them.
As for the External Auditor, the physical evidence would disappear in the case of
adoption of e-banking facilities, which requires the External Auditor to develop
methods of obtaining evidence of the electronic document to be an argument in the
case of neutral professional technical opinion .
