Research Plan Research Background The topic of this research is about Samsung mobile phones.

Nuclear power is a form of electricity generation. Nuclear power currently provides about 6% of the worlds energy (World Nuclear News, 2010.) This topic is important because many countries are experiencing a shortage of non-renewable energy resources. Alternatives for energy generation need to be explored. It is also known that this energy generation carries many risks. The most recent example of the risks of nuclear energy is the disaster of the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. Understanding peoples opinions on nuclear energy can be useful for governments and power companies to understand what the publics reaction to the introduction of this energy might be. Research Question The specific research question that this research is focused around is What are the opinions of college students on the introduction of nuclear energy as a energy source in Kuwait? Research Method This research project will be conducted using primary research, specifically surveys. The research will be conducted between 10 December 2011 and 20 December 2011. The survey will be distributed to 250 college students across the following college campuses. Gulf University, American University of the Middle East, American University of Kuwait, Australian College of Kuwait, Kuwait University. The sampling method that will be used will be the snowball sampling method. Snowball sampling is when a survey is given to a small group of people who then pass it on for you. The first group of respondents will be selected as a sample of students from each of the universities mentioned, they will then be asked to pass the survey on to other students at their university, both male and female. The population sample for this survey is male and female students studying at university in Kuwait. The research questions is specifically focused at college aged students. The reason I have chosen this sample is because it is college educated students that are more likely to be in positions of power and influence, Assessment Two Primary Research whether in the business sector or in government. Finding out what their views are towards nuclear energy may show us the way future decisions may be made regarding this topic in the future.
