Feedback from Rough-Cut and Improvements

From our audience feedback Main Task Rough Cut, we were given feedback suggesting that our scenes were too long. They also mentioned that we could have removed particular scenes and add another character to create a better understanding of the characters. While reshooting, we added a third character to make the main friendship group bigger. There are now three people in the group. This gives us more space and options while considering the characters. An establishing shot was added for each location, this is so the audience knows where each character is. We also added a location, a school. In the rough cut, we did not have a third location. With the setting, we added images to increase the reality of the bedrooms. We decided school as it is where the characters were all going and it gives them all something in common. Looking back to our research, we found that the characters should have at least one thing in common and we didnt have this. We were also told that our shots were not steady enough. For our final cut, weve decided to think about the different shot types and the steadiness of the camera. We have improved this. The music that we used was also raised as an issue. Though from a non-copy right website, the chorus and instrumental was copy righted. We are now currently working on created an instrumental from an instrumental we found on a non-copy righted website. We have made sure there are no copyright issues with the new music. The completed soundtrack will be added to our final.
