The incidents of HIV-AIDS has become worlds problem that require treatment in a comprehensive manner. The average sufferers of HIV-AIDS was in a productive age. It can impact on national development which threat the lives of people even the life of a nation. This study was aimed to know the description of risk factors for incident HIVAIDS in productive age. Method of the study is descriptive with used purposive sampling. Population is all of HIV-AIDS sufferers who was in a productive age that listed at Jumpandang Baru Health Center and RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo. Sample was selected using a secunder data and obtained 40 cases in Jumpandang Baru Health Centers and 132 cases in RSUP Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo. The results showed that 129 cases (75%) of HIV-AIDS sufferers were muslim and other religion were 43 people (25%). Heterosexual behavior is the highest risk factor in 87 cases (51%), and the secondary risk factor is IDUs as many 69 cases (40%). The most productive age group in Jumpandang Baru Health Center and RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar is 29-34 years old in 64 cases (37%). Based on the results, it suggested that not having sex outside marriage, being faithful to each spouse, avoiding in sharing needles and being closer to Almigthy God is the best way to prevent transmission of HIV-AIDS but we can deny that the cooporation between overall of the services to the community outreach especially in health and social services should work together to educating and counseling to empower people due to decrease the incident of HIV-AIDS.
