April 1, 2013 The State of Florida and the Department of Education are placing great emphasis on Career Awareness programs in the schools. This year James H. Bright Elementary School will be celebrating its Speaker Day on Wednesday, May 1 st 2013. Our theme is Diving into a Bright Future. We would like to extend a warm invitation to visit us and be a part of this exciting day! This would give you the opportunity to visit a classroom and speak to our students about your fascinating career and some of your responsibilities. We believe that career awareness is needed to assist our youngsters in planning their programs of study and to begin to explore realistic career choices. There will be a welcome breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Media Center. After the breakfast you will visit two different classrooms to give a thirty minute presentation about your field of work. Our students and staff members would be most honored to have you participate in our Career Day Program.
